Boy Meets Girl, Girl Meets Boy

Chapter 6

- LULU - 

We arrived to the beach both with a feeling of excitement. I handed him my bag but we ended up holding hands and walking along the beach trying to find a spot to put our towels. The sun was glistening on the water and reflecting of my sunglasses. I feel really happy I thought to myself. 

"Why are you smiling?" He asked with a laugh. 

"I'm smiling because I'm happy." I responsed with a smile. 

"You're happy because you're with me!" He declared to fellow beach goers who just stared at us like we were crazy.

We found a spot and lay our picnic blanket and towels down. Ethan put down his esky and revealed all of the sandwiches, dips, fruits and vegetables that he had picked out and bought himself. He was sweet.

"Wow! You did this for me, you must really like me." I joked. 

"Well just wait and see you'll fall in love with me quicker than you can say bam." 

"BAM!" I screeched following his statement. 

"You just wait and see." He uttered whilst moving forward, holding my neck and kissing me. He pulled away. 

"It's already happening. You're falling in love with me as we speak." 

"Bam and the love is gone."

Be both cracked up laughing thinking of how random the joke was. 

"Bam and the love is back...I just saw what you did you did a flirtacious wink, I saw it... you know it." He chuckled. 

We kissed again. I rested my back on the esky before pulling his neck down to my level. He leaned his hand down on the sand to hold his weight, and cupped my cheek with his right hand. We kissed forever but in reality was only like 1 minute. Before deciding we needed a swim. Even whilst swimming he couldn't keep his eyes off me. 

"Why are you staring at me?" I accused.

"It's no my fault, my date is so irrestible." He joked.

"It's not my fault, my date is so not irrestible." mimicking his previous statement.

We laughed, and laughed, and laughed until we had to go and eat some food. I was starving by the time we sat down and started on the food. I had a peanut butter sandwich with no butter on the bread and some carrots with beetroot dip. It was so nice to watch the waves roll onto the wet sand and then vanish back into the deep, wide open ocean that was the sea's humble abode. I started to eat an orange when out of no where a huge bucket of water was thrown on my head. I knew the culprit immediately.

"Ethan, I'm gonna get you back for this." I shouted. 

I then heard a splash into the water before lifting my wet hair up and tying it into a bun. Before grabbing a huge bucket and filling it up at the shore line. I searched the seas for him, slowly making my way deeper and deeper into the ocean. Something grabbed my leg! I turned immediatley and spotted Ethan's face before he embraced me in a hug. The waves bashed us around, we heard kids laughing, we saw people doing amazing surf tricks but it felt like the whole beach was just for us, like we were the only people there. Sneakily, I grabbed the bucket of water filled it up again and poured it over his head before pulling away from the hug and sprinting to the towels. He came also instantly out of the water behind me and flopped himself onto his towel. We then looked up at the sky, to see if we could guess the shapes of the clouds. 

"I see a rabbit." I commented. 

"I see a cow with a chicken head but then with a donkey body." He admitted.
