Boy Meets Girl, Girl Meets Boy

Chapter 11

- ETHAN - 

I awoke feeling exhausted from last night's late night conversations. As I open my eyes I find Lulu snuggled into my chest and my arm around her. She looks so beautiful when she sleeps...ok snap out of it I think to myself. Should I wake her up, go back to sleep or move over? Just as I am deciding her eyelashes started to flutter and slowly her eyelids raised. She looked up at me, her big hazel green eyes capturing me with their beauty. 

"Goodmorning." She says sitting up, stretching her arms out and yawning. 

"Goodmorning to you too." I reply smiling, resting my head on my pillow and pulling up the blanket to my chin. 

I open my arms to invite her back and she takes the offer. She slumps onto my pillow and we just stare at each other and smile. I lean in to kiss her but before I make it to her lips her dog Tiny comes bounding on top of us. He snuggles into her and she kisses him on the forehead before looking up at me and laughing. 

We both hear sounds from Katie and Aaron's mattress suggesting they were waking up too. We both sit up and look over in there direction, we hear a kissing sound and look at each other about to burst into hysterics when Katie sits up and stretches. Aaron is next to get up and puts his arm around Katie. 

"Goodmorning lovebirds." Lulu jokes. 

As we both slump back down on the single mattress. 

"Goodmorning lovebirds." Aaron mimicked looking at both of us snuggled into each other. 

No matter what anyone says. I know that here right now is where I want to be. 

"Let's make pancakes!" Katie squealed before jumping up and putting Aaron's jumper on that was oversized on her. She starts to walk to the kitchen and Aaron quickly jumps up off the mattress and follows her. 

I look back down to Lulu, and decide now is the time to make a move. I lean forward and kissed her. She kissed back, before I started to kiss her neck. 

"Do you want chocolate chips in your pancakes?" Katie calls, breaking up the sudden attraction that we both had for each other. 

Lulu looks at me, silently asking if I do want chocolate chips, I nod. 

"Yes we both do!" Lulu calls back. 

She leans back down kisses me for at least 5 seconds and then gets up and runs to the kitchen. 

I watch her running off thinking how did I get here? She is amazing and I love spending time with her. I  stay back on the mattress for a bit thinking about life. I laugh so clichè right. A little while later Lulu comes and gets me for breakfast. I jump up and wrap my arms around her torso from behind as she is walking back to the kitchen. We walk into the kitchen with me kissing her neck, arms around her stomach and looking like lovebirds.

"Get a room." Aaron commented. Katie nodded with agreement.

Lulu and I both look at each other and smile.

I decide to take a seat at the dining table and Lulu sits across from me. She looks so beautiful and natural in the morning. She jokingly sticks her tongue out at me before getting up to get some breakfast juice. The pancakes are served and they were so delicious. I have to give Katie and Aaron credit they did a really good job. Once breakfast is finished we all make our way back to the living room to watch some television and relax since it was Saturday and we still had a whole weekend ahead of us. It was 12 pm when we decided to leave the sofa and go out to the garden for a swim in Lulu and Aaron's pool. Lulu and Katie go upstairs to get changed into their swimming costumes whilst Aaron lent me a pair of his boardshorts. We got some towels and then had an afternoon in front of the pool. Aaron and I joked around and formed a really good friendship. Lulu and Katie where in the pool talking about boys. I overheard my name and the word 'like'. It makes me happy to know she likes me, its also good that we aren't serious and we don't have to hang out with each other every second of the day even though that would be fun. I'm talking to Aaron when Lulu looks at me and winks, I wink back and smile before returning to my chat.
