Chapter 12

- JAMIE - 

The weekend went by so quickly and I'm already walking to school unlike Ethan who caught the bus. I think I know the reason for that, he was probably hoping to get to see Lulu. I laugh out loud. He must really like her, he came back on Saturday afternoon completley over the moon and the happiest I've seen him in a while.

Unfortunatley Katie told him about the punch, he told me he was surprised but he smirked at the fact I had actually physically harmed someone. However he told me that he can fight his own battles, and the reason his 10th grade girlfriend is saying bad stuff about him is because she is jealous that she is not with him.

She should be jealous, he is completley smitten with Lulu. Even though he won't admit that there is something serious there. I can see it and I'm sure anyone else that sees them after a date or with each other knows that they really care about each other. 

I put in my headphones and turn on my 'Songs' playlist that has Beyonce to Jessie J to Coldplay. Everything! I start to chill out when I am turning a corner and see Issy leaning on Mason's car door and him kissing her. CRAP! Did I just see that?? I need to tell Ethan. I make my way down another street to get to school. I sent him a text when I was in the safe zone. 

'Need to talk to you URGENTLY! Meet me at recess near the library.'

He replied within 2 minutes clearly noticing my frantic text. 

'Yeh...are you ok?' 

- Ethan

'Yes, I'm fine I think you should be worrying more about someone else. Just i'll see you at recess.' 

- Lulu

'Ok.'

- Ethan

I went off messages and into iTunes, I really needed to calm down. Talk about betrayal of a friend's trust! Also the thing is, Ethan told me that Lulu rarely forgives people who have double crossed her and not been honest with her. I wonder how Ethan will take it actually...more like how will Lulu take it?

- ISSY - 

Mason texted me last night saying he wanted to meet up before school. He said he needed to talk. I had no idea what he meant so I just said yes. I'm walking down the street when I spot him leaning on his car. He waves and I wave back. Here goes nothing I think to myself as I approach my best friend's.....ex boyfriend. 

"Hey." I awkwardly smile. 

"Hey. Have you been avoiding me?" He asks me with hurt on his face. 

"A bit..I'm sorry Mason but you shouldn't have kissed me, don't you care about Lulu at all!!" I snap. 

"Yeah...yeah..I used to. We drifted apart, I didn't love her anymore." He answered looking down at his shoes. 

"So you came back from America for her or was that just a lie?" I rebutted. 

"I missed her but when I got back something was gone. Imagine talking to the person you love through facebook messanger for 6 months. I'm sure she thought it was strange." He confided in me. But no I wasn't going to give in, I was going to fight for Lulu as he ruined her. 

"No you can't say she thought something was strange as you didn't see her after you came back. She was happy and fufilled. You gave her unconditonal love and you can't just use not loving her anymore as an excuse. Own up to what you've done and take responsibilty as you played her big time!" I loudened my voice, even passerbys could hear our conversation.
