Boy Meets Girl, Girl Meets Boy

Chapter 7

- ISSY - 

"QUICK, QUICK" I told my dog trying to convince him to go to the bathroom. His name was Chip and he was a sausage dog. He's still a puppy. 

I glanced up and saw Ethan going into his house. He looked happy which means the date was successful with Lulu and him! I need to call Casey and Lulu and organise a girls night out.

*Marimba*

"Hey it's Issy. I was just calling to see if you fancy having a girls night out tonight with Casey? By the way I just saw Ethan and it looks like the date was successful between you two?"

"I would love to! But wait, wait, wait what do you mean you just saw Ethan?" She replied, suddenly interested by what Ethan did. 

"Yeah I was walking my dog and saw him going into his house with a big smile and his body langauge suggested like he got lucky. Even though I hope nothing happened." I asked with giggles. 

"Yeah, yeah. You wish that something happened but it didn't. He had planned a beach picnic. He had made all these different snacks. He was so sweet."

"Did you kiss and like hold hands? Do the typical clique rom com stuff?" 

"To your luck we did..and many times at that." She answered hesitantly. 

"Are you together? Like an item or something?" 

"We are taking things slow..i'm not sure I want a serious relationship so soon after Mason. Speaking of Mason, did he say anything when you gave back the guitar?" 

"I just dropped it off at his house. He just said thanks that was it. But on the subject of Ethan, do you like him?"

"Yes. And he told me he liked me a lot. Using those exact words...a lot..." 

"Ok well we'll talk more about this tonight on our girls night. I just have to call Casey and let her know. Get glammed up where hitting the town." 

We both laughed. 

"Bye Issy!" 

I hung up. 

After that call I felt so bad because I left out one small detail about my trip to Mason's house. We kissed, well he kissed me but then I didn't stop the kiss. But the worst thing about this, which is killing me inside is that I actually....like him...really like him. I couldn't tell her that after she is just starting to return to herself. Maybe, well let's hope that she ends up becoming a couple with Ethan so then I can tell her and she won't care. However, the truth is that she will care no matter rain, shine, boyfriend or not. Crap what have I done! When should I tell her? I have no idea, we can have fun tonight then i'll tell her later on next week. 

Just as I was having a mental break down. I recieve a text from Mason saying 'Wanna catch up later?'. Does he not understand that he has broken Lulu's heart and now he wants to try it on with her best friend. That's a douchebag move. Yes I like him but I need to find more out about him before anything happens because I value my friendship with Lulu more than a relationship with that sort of ding dong. Let's just hope nothing happens tonight and it all goes smoothly, I can't deal with any more stress as it is. I'm just gonna reply so that's over and done with and I don't need to think about it any more. I just reply 'Can't soz.' That's fine. Now let's party.

I call Casey and arrange everything. We decide to go to Blaze in the city at 7.

- ETHAN - 

I return home in the most happiest mood since I won $1000 in a raffle at school. She brings the best out in me and she is heaps funny. Whenever i'm with her I get butterflies, plus the fact that today she told me she liked me. I hope something comes of this just not sure if it will be serious because of her recent relationship with Mason. I've got it to take my mind of this and what she is thinking. I am going to arrange a little get together with some of my friends. We can go into the city and have some fun I thought to myself as I dialed Leon, my best friend's number.
