Boy Meets Girl, Girl Meets Boy

Chapter 10

- LULU - 

I walk down the stairs and make my way to the kitchen where I spot Aaron with a girl who I recognise, I think she is in his year I've seen her at school concerts before. 

"Hey, their is someone I would like you to meet. Her name is Katie and she is my girlfriend." Katie and Aaron both looked at each other and smiled. 

I nodded.

"Oh hey. Nice to meet you." I answer. 

"She will be over a lot so I would really like it if you two got along."

"Yeah sure what about I invite my friend Ethan over and all of us can have a movie night tonight. We can order pizza and make some popcorn." I suggest. 

They both nod. 

"Ok I've got to get to school and ask Ethan so talk to you two later." I say before smiling and walking away. 

I started walking up the stairs and caught a glimpse of the two lovebirds kissing in the kitchen. Young love I thought to myself before laughing out loud. 

I texted Ethan. 

'Wanna come to a movie night tonight with my brother and his new girlfriend. Just hanging out, not a date ;).'

I got a response within 3 minutes. 

'Yes, yes and yes. You wish it was a date.'

I couldn't help but giggle to myself as I began to get ready for school. Today is going to be a fun day. I arrive to school in my sports uniform for PE only to find out that it has been cancelled because the park's ground is to wet from last nights storm. I crack a smile to myself, thinking about last nights events. The teachers announce to us that we go to our room that is allocated to our class and begin to study for the terms upcoming exams. 

I grab my science books from my locker and make my way to 041 where Issy and Cygnet have saved me a seat. 

"Hey, hey!" I greet Cygnet and Issy. 

"Hellloooo." They both reply in unison. 

Cygnet is looking a bit sad and down in the dumps though.

"Is everything ok?" I ask Cygnet. 

Cygnet begins to break down in tears. I wonder to myself what has happened? Yesterday she was so happy and full of life. 

"My...boyfriend" She began in between sobs. 

"Cheated on me!" Cygnet's expression turned to anger as she wiped up her tears and pulled herself together. 

Rick cheated on her that little lying, manipulating douchebag!

I immediately start to rant about cheating boyfriends. 

"Boys are such idiots, they walk around thinking that they are superior and if they cheat on us it is not the end of the world. But if we even go and talk in a flirtatious way to another boy they get all protective and possessive over us." I barked with an evil sort of tone thinking back to what Mason had done and how disrespectful he was. 

"Amen to that!" Cygnet agreed, cracking a smile. 

"You just have to remember any guy would be lucky to have you and obviously Rick took it for granted. You need that evil and selflish negativity out of your life." Issy said with a snarl in her voice.

"Your strong Cyg you can get through this even if it does involve egging his house." Issy laughed. 

Cygnet and I just burst into hysterics with Issy falling on the ground clutching her stomach trying to get the laughs to stop.
