Boy Meets Girl, Girl Meets Boy

Chapter 15

- AARON - 

I felt Lulu tense up as I looked out her window to see that the loud bang was the wing breaking off. I grabbed my sister, Felicity's hand as she looked me in the eyes showing deep worry for our safety and future. Our parents made sure that we were ok, before grabbing our arms from their seats. I started to calm my nerves by doing deep breathing when I felt a sudden drop, were we? No we can't be...are we going down? I then felt a sudden movement and thats when I relaised my consience was right...we were dropping out of the sky and at a fast pace. Screams started to erupt the plane and the chairs began to vibrate. A voice came over the plane's intercom that startled almost everyone, the noise shifted to a hush. 

'Everyone needs to stay calm. The pilot is trying his hardest to stablise the aircraft with the help of the co-pilot to advoid a...a...a...tragedy. The left side wing has broken off and as of now we are falling. Make sure you have your seatbelts on and are in your seat. Don't panic and stay close to your loved ones. All of the aircraft assistants and workers are trying to stop the plane losing height to the highest of their ability. Hope for the best but prepare for the worst. Were..were sorry.' 

As soon as the intercom went silent fear overwhelmed me and in that instance I thought of Katie, my beloved girlfriend who would be devastated if anything were to happen to me or my family. I really had become close to her and now I was at the fret of losing my family, friends and the loss of ability to say goodbye. 

"Are we..are we going to die?" I ask my two older sisters who look at me with complete and utter bewilderment and confusion. They were trying to put on a strong front to protect me but I was only one year younger than Lulu so I wanted to know if these were going to be my last moments. 

"I am just going to be honest with you Ar. I don't mentally or physically see a way that could restrict this plane from hitting the ocean and destructing. It looks like we will all leave this earth together, we just have to stay strong." Felicity explained with a fear stricken voice trying to coprehend the situation we were in. 

I literally had a maximum of 5 minutes to live. Before long all of us started to cry wrapping each other into a buddle with the seat in between us. We knew this was it, we knew we were going to die. 

Just like that a large swerve knocked all of us out of our seats but we all managed to get back up again. That's when I saw out of Lulu's window what the aircraft's pilort was planning to do, he was going to try and land on water. I'd only seen this in movies but had read about it online that pilots are briefed on how to land on water, something to do with the general mechanics.

I saw how the plane plane was heading towards the water. Will we stay alive?

The pilot and co pilot started to descend the aircraft, thats when there was a sudden jerk and I felt the splash of the water on all sides of the airplane. That's when the impact kicked in, I held onto my seat but Lulu went flying onto my lap before rolling onto Felicity and hitting her head on a metal bar. Once Felicity and I had recovered from the impact we rushed to Lulu's aid, she was unconscious and didn't have any pulse. I went into panic and burst out crying..my sister was dead.

"Aaron calm down...we need to get her heart moving again. We can save her. Go ask the pilot for a defibulator." She shook me. I rushed to the cockpit and asked a flight attendent (name is Frances) if she had a defibulator on board. She nodded before grabbing the red bag and making her way with me through business class.
