Boy Meets Girl, Girl Meets Boy

Chapter 1

-LULU-

It was the first day back of Year 11. I longed for this year to be a new start.

I walked to the front gates to meet my two best friends Issy and Casey. They have been my best friends since we met in Year 4 and shared a common hatred for Ms Bing. The sun was like a scorching red, hot torch shining down on our school this muggy summer morning. I saw Issy and Casey get off the bus deep in a conversation about a certain somebody. Issy's boyfriend who over the holidays had cheated on her and then lied to her. She was devastated but now she has a new love interest Channing Tatum. 

"Hey", I said in an excited tone.

"What up!" Casey squealed with the prospect of dating Miles Newman, the hottest boy in school. 

"Not much, still in a holiday kinda mode. What is that?" spotting Issy's metallic, shiny phone case. 

"Just some little bling I saw in a shop window, you likey?" Issy said. 

"It's blinding, in a good way. Haha!" I managed to get out in between the laughs. 

"They see us rollin, they hatin, patrollin they tryin catch us ridin dirty," Casey blurted out the lyrics with a nodding head. As Issy did her own 'Chopping Sushi' dance move that made us all burst out laughing. 

"Let the school year begin." We all chanted. 

As we turned to go into the school gates we saw Issy's ex boyfriend Mitch Edwards leaning on the bike ramp hooking up with Amanda Michael. He is such a douchebag I thought to myself. Issy laughed it off but we knew she was hurting deep down but she was also wishing for a new fun fling and some revenge. We stepped into the corridor leading to our lockers and longed for this day to be over so we can go to the party at Cygnet's house. Cygnet always had the best parties especially with her boyfriend being a jock, so she pratically new everyone at school. 

"Hey look who's back?" a familar voice from down the corridor asked. I turned to see it was my boyfriend Mason who had been in America since Term 4 and was supposed to get back Term 2 this year. He embraced me in a hug and kiss. I suddenly felt this huge wave of love and happiness. 

"You didn't tell me you were back?" I asked dumbfounded at this massive suprise. 

"I wanted it to be a surprise, and god it was a good one!' He laughed and embraced me in another hug. 

"Oh my, I have a lot to tell you. But I gotta get to class, meet after school at Boost?" I told him as I grabbed my books and jogged down the corridor. I heard him saying "Yeah" as I ran into the distance.

"Yeah!" I said calling down the corridor as I watched her turn around a corner. I love her and missed her I thought to my self. Crap! I have to get to class. I sprinted to down the corridor and retrieved my books from my locker and turned abruskly knocking someone down spralling their books all over the floor. "Sorry" I said apologetically as I turned to see the victim of my clumsy ways. 

"Don't worry, it's all good." The mystery woman said, she looked up to me and I saw these beautiful blue eyes that made me think I was swimming in Bora Bora. She was mesmersing, she was...

"Hello?!" She asked puzzled as I quickly snapped out of my trance. 

"Oh yeah sorry about that got a bit caught up in everything, whats your name?" 

"Oh yeah no worries, it's Mia. Are you new because I can show you where your class is if you want?"

"I have just been in America since Term 4 last year so new but not. But you can show me the way if you want."
