Boy Meets Girl, Girl Meets Boy

Chapter 13

- LULU - 

I think Issy is advoiding me, I haven't spoken to her all day. I try to talk to her but she always has something on and seems uninterested. I asked Casey and Cygnet if they noticed anything strange and all they said was that it seemed like she was advoiding us. Ethan also invited me to a his friend's party tonight but I have no idea what to wear. I have a cute black tight dress option or a flowly white dress that goes to my knees. 

I get onto the bus after school with everyone else and sit next to one of my really good friends, Emma. She is Tom's girlfriend, so she is going to Leon's party to. 

"Hey, have you decided what your wearing tonight? I am really conflicted on two dresses." I ask. 

"Hey..yeh I have I think I am going to wear my black mini skirt and grey midriff with like some heels. What are your two options?" Emma asks me. 

"They are..well one is a white dress that is flowly and the other one is just a simple black tight dress that I have worn like so many times!" I ask with an unsure expression. 

"I think go with the black party dress but then spice it up with some gold jewellery and then some studded boots. That would look cool." Emma suggested. 

"Yes! That is such a good idea, thank you so so much Emma!" I approved of the amazing idea. That saved me like 2 hours deciding what to wear. 

The bus arrived to my stop so I waved goodbye to Emma and told her I'd see her at the party as I jumped off the bus. I walked to my gate when I saw Ethan standing there looking somewhat distressed. He was sitting on my door step so I walked up and sat down next to him. He was acting strange. 

"Hey" He said with the face of someone that is hiding something.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" I ask inquistively. 

"I need to tell you something." He responsed. 

"Ok.." I creased my eyebrows and looked at him. He was acting really strange. 

"Jamie was walking to school today and saw something, and then told me." He began. 

I nodded before he continued. 

"The thing she saw was Issy and Mason kissing." He blurted. 

My mouth dropped open. My bestfriend and my ex boyfriend? What!! 

Ethan looked at me, and saw my betrayed look before wrapping his arm around me. I immediately got out of his grip and stood up. 

"Sorry I need some space." I addressed before unlocking my door and closing it as he was just getting up from the door step. 

Before I new what was happening tears started to trickle down my face and then I just burst out crying. I was so...so shocked. I hear some footsteps and see Aaron coming running to the door from the kitchen. I was slumped to the floor with my back resting on the door. Without asking any questions he helped me up and gave me a big bear hug. He walked with me upstairs before taking me to the bathroom and getting me a tissue. 

"Can I just have some space?" I asked Aaron as I caught a glimpse of my red puffy eyes, red nose and blotchy face in the bathroom mirror. 

He nodded before closing the bathroom door behind him. 

I move to the mirror and capture the image of a betrayed young girls face.

I think to myself, my best friend hooked up with my ex boyfriend. She knows how much he hurt me, and the thing is she doesn't even care? I thought I could rely on her and trust her but she was being dishonest with me. She could have told me but I had to hear it from Ethan. Poor Ethan! I pushed him away, I didn't want him to see me cry because then he would have known I cared.
