Instinct (English version)

Chapter 2

You and your friends gather in the dining room after a good night of sleep. The nauseous sensation from yesterday seems to have disappeared. It was probably due to homesickness. You would rather not think about it and focus on your holidays. You came here to have fun, no way you would let anything darken your stay!

After a large breakfast, you decide to go at the beach without further wasting your time. You dreamt about this soft and warm sand! You inhale the sea air while admiring the horizon, where the blue of the sky melts into the blue of the sea. The sound of lapping waves creates a light music... suddenly interrupted by your friends who jump into the water like savages.

"Come on Y/N!"

You quickly join them with a smile. You all swim together in the clear hot sea, playing and splashing water on each other from time to time. You are having a great time, when you suddenly hit a little girl behind you by mistake. You quickly apologise, but the girl does not react and stares at you with her big blue eyes. You are almost embarrassed! An older girl looking just like her then comes to meet you.

"Anna! Stop staring at people like that, it's really rude! Please forgive my little sister, she's sometimes a little bit clumsy..."

You assure her that everything is perfectly fine, even if you cannot confess that the little girl's stare keeps making you feel uncomfortable... She has not been blinking for three minutes! Fortunately, her big sister seems more likeable. You get to know each other. Besides being the same age as you, Clara also came in this hotel to spend some holidays with her friends. She is very sporty, as you can see from her slender figure, and ends up in challenging you to a beach volleyball duel.

You have now two propositions: you can accept Clara's offer or reject it. Make your choice and read the corresponding paragraph.

You accept the duel.

A little game will not hurt you. You are a gamester, and this is the perfect occasion to make yourself a new friend!

Clara brings her beach ball and the match starts near the sea. You quickly realise that her level is far above yours. While you are struggling to win a single point, the tall blond girl easily strikes back. You lose miserably. Nevertheless, you both spent a great time together. You have the feeling that this match, even if far from professional, brought you closer together.

You refuse the duel.

You do not really like this sport and you are perfectly aware that you do not stand a chance against the tall blond girl. The latter is a bit disappointed but her smile does not fade. You decide to go and search for sea shells. You find a lot of them, with different shapes and different colours, each one prettier than the previous one. There is no chance you agree on which one of you found the most beautiful sea shell, mostly because Clara is stubborn and does not want to let you win! Nevertheless, you both spend a great time together. You have the feeling that this activity, even if far from mature, brought you closer together.

Your friends join you. You then introduce them to Clara and Anna. The latter has of course stayed with the two of you all the time, without saying a single word. FF2/N tries to communicate with her, without success.
