Seven out of the nine current residents of 12 Grimmauld Place were gathered in the second floor living room. The dark old room needed a good clean as the years of absence had left the once formal living room in a state of mold and dust. Mrs Weasley stood red faced in front of the six teenagers, who where spread out across the room, each armed with a bottle of anti-dixie spray and buckets. The teenagers faces where covered in different types of fabric, Rons was an old shirt and Ginnys was a tea towel wrapped around her neck as protection against the mist.
Mrs Weasley stood fuming at the group. She was holding a spray bottle and bucket having spent the morning cleaning and paralyzing doxies that had infested the second floor living room. Mrs Weasleys idea of distracting the children from the disorder of their world, was cleaning the dusty old house that had been vacant for thirteen years. " Right that's it" she screeched her covered face flushing red, " GEORGE GIVE GINNY BACK HER WAND, FRED AND RON STOP SPRAYING EACHOTHER FOR MERLINS SAKE" she screeched, the twins had decided that messing and teasing their younger siblings was a good idea but Mrs Weasley was bubbling in anger and was highly irritated.
" Right, Harry, Ron, Hermione take three buckets and a bottle of spray and go clean the fifth floor" the trio sighed deeply they hadn't been given a break all summer and the last thing they wanted to do was clean a whole floor of dust that had gathered and who knows what else. The counter arguments bubbled from the youngest male Weasley but his mother had none of it instead pointing at him frantically .Reluctantly Harry picked up the three buckets and headed out the door deciding that it wasnt the best idea to go against Mrs Weasley. He was followed by Ron and Hermione who had taken a full bottle of spray from the tattered couch in the living room. They made their way up two flights of stairs lowering their gaze as they passed the mounted heads of previous house elves. Harry arrived on the small landing first and continued down the thin corridor.
"Why are they so bloody narrow" Ron complained as he squeezed himself through the path. Harry stopped infront of the first black door and tried to twist open the black raven handle put it didnt budge, sighing in relief the trio continued down the corridor at least they had one room less to clean they thought to themselves he moved to the next black door opposite the other door , "locked". Hermione had pushed through the two and tried the next two pairs of door and like the others they didnt move. They where then faced with the last entryway at the very end of the corridor facing them. Inscribed like the others it read L.V.B.
