SHAWN MENDES

"Morning!" my brothers cheer, stupid grins on each of their faces.

My eyes widen, my heart dropping to my stomach and I offer an awkward chuckle. I keep the door mostly shut, blocking the rest with my body, overly conscious of the naked girl in my bathroom.

I scratch the back of my neck, "Uh, morning?" I reply, puzzled as to why they've showed up unannounced, "What're you guys doing here?"

"We've been texting in the group chat all morning..." Scott answers, "Were you asleep or something?"

I bite my lip with a sheepish nod of my head, "Yeah... something like that."

As I watch my three brothers glance between each other and fall into a pit of confusion, footsteps catch my attention and I flick my head towards the hallway.

"Shawn Mendes," Adrian amusedly chuckles, "You hiding someone, eh?"

I go to speak and defend myself but Scott obnoxiously pushes at my door, barging into the condo with my other two fools for brothers following.

"Guys!" I snap, worrying that Trin might emerge half naked, but instead she appears dressed in plaid pyjama bottoms and a quarter-zip vintage sweatshirt. My heart swells to twice its size when she flinches as she notices the unexpected company.

"I knew it!" Flynn exclaims, spinning around to point an accusing finger at me.

I shake my head in annoyance, irritated that they've interrupted what was supposed to be a chilled out morning with my girl.

"Um... hello," Trinity greets shyly, offering a wave of her hand as my brothers stand there gawking at her with shit-eating grins. The fact that she and I both have wet hair gives quite a lot away, and it's pretty obvious the guys caught on quickly.

"Stop staring at her like that," I mutter as I push passed them, making my way over to an overwhelmed Trinity.

"I'm so confused," she chuckles, gladly puckering her lips when I dip down for a kiss.

I stand beside her and wrap an arm around her shoulders as she looks between my brothers and I expectantly. I raise my eyebrows, waiting for any of them to say something instead of standing there with bewildered smiles and wide eyes.

"Oh!" Scott says, "Yeah, hi!" he says to Trinity, walking over with a warm smile and wrapping her in a hug.

She giggles, "Hi. Congrats on the engagement!"

Scott beams, eyes softening and I know he's thinking of Avril, "Thanks, Trinity. It's so great to see you again."

"I second that," Flynn winks and I roll my eyes at his attraction towards Trinity. He, too, walks over and engulfs her in a tight hug and she's all smiles when Adrian does the same.

"We didn't know you were visiting!" Adrian says.

"Uh... yeah," Trinity chuckles, glancing up at me and catching me staring at her. She flushes crimson and I smirk.
