Chapter 11- He's perfect

Chapter 11

A month.

One long month had passed sense your blow up with Namjoon. He tried to call and even tried to come over but you didn't want to face him. You were still too hurt by his words. You did your best to just fade back into your invisible self. It was rather easy to be honest but it felt lonelier than usual.

You really missed your best friend and wanted so badly to have those nights of just teasing and laughing at each other again. But you weren't ready to forgive him, you weren't ready to forgive yourself either. Although you don't regret what was said to him you never wanted to push things that far.

You knew all along that you were in love with namjoon, you've suppressed those feelings for years. Things were just so easy when it was just the two of you, it was so easy to fall into the image of you two actually being a couple.

But who were you kidding you were no Sophie, you didn't have it all like she did and that's what Namjoon wanted. You guys just wouldn't work, you'd never be enough for him and would always come second best.

As for Jungkook, you let that be. You knew what he was about before agreeing to the date.

You just got caught up in another fantasy of something that would never happen. You guys still texted occasionally and he still liked every one of your photos on the app but nothing more and nothing less.

Seokjin however...you were still trying to figure that one out. He was too good to be true, there just simply had to be some sort of catch. No guy as perfect as that would want to be with you, maybe Jungkook and him made some sort of bet? Although that seems a bit cliche, this isn't she's all that.

"Hello Beautiful"

Your face flushed as you walked out the doors of your work. Seokjin was already waiting for you, his hair was pushed away from his face for a change and as if it were even possible he looked even sexier than usual. His soft lips coat yours as his large hands pull you into his chest.

You melt into him feeling his defined body being pressed against you. "Want to go out tonight? Or should we order in and watch movies" you shrug "Hmm let's stay in tonight" he opened the car door for you and smiled.

"I was hoping you'd say that, your place or mine?"

You sink into the cushioned leather as he quickly runs around the car and gets in the drivers seat "Surprise me" you laugh.

You end up at Jin's place, you sip on your wine as you watch the man put your takeout on some plates.

"You know....I never asked you, how'd you end up on the app?"

Jin smirks as he walks over to where you are and places the food on the coffee table in front of you.

"My friend Jungkook"

Ah that's how they knew each other. You wonder if he knew you guys went out.

As if he read your mind, he smiles and kisses your lips quickly before settling in beside you.

"Yeah I heard about your date with him"

You blush feeling embarrassed "I was surprised you fell for his bullshit lines. But then again I'm not surprised I did give him the lines" you both laugh and he starts to stuff his face

"It didn't bother you?"

"Not really, I mean I was jealous especially because he knew I was desperately trying to get in contact with you" the asshole you mentally say.

"But he wasn't going to let you know that, he was already upset that I asked you out first. But I figured it would be okay sense he chickened out that day at the coffee shop"

You nod thinking about how that felt like years ago.

"I'm glad you asked me out that night"

Now his face was flushed "Did you ever tell him that I was the girl behind the screen name" Jin shakes his head no as he finishes up another bite.

"Of course not, if you wanted people to know then you'd show your face right?"

You smile and nod. How on earth was he so perfect.

You watch him quietly eat as the movie starts to play. He smiles and then looks over at you making you blush.

"I know I'm very handsome, is my face distracting you from the movie? I can go put on a mask"

You hit his arm and laugh, he was always so easygoing and charming. You absolutely loved being around him and his positive energy. "I'm sure you'd still be drop dead gorgeous" he laughs "I bet your right"

You shake your head and curl into his lap, he softly rubs your lower back. You can feel his eyes on you and not on the movie. You look up at him.

"What? Did you just realize how unattractive I am?"

He scoffs and rolls his eyes. "Your beautiful y/n, I think you should know that by now" you shrug and close your eyes as he begins to play with your hair "Does it bother you that I'm still using the app?" You ask but keep your eyes shut, too afraid to see his judging face.

"No"

Your eyes flutter open in confusion "Your not?" He shakes his head no and continues to play with your hair.

"I understand why you do it, and I like the confidence you get when you use it...do I wish it was only me watching and liking those sexy photos" his voice husks as he thinks about the photos you post and your cheeks flush "yes but I'm confident and I trust you"

You giggle and he raises a curious brow at you "This is seriously an adult relationship" now both eyebrows rise and you quickly panic "I mean not that we are in a relationship or anything I'm just saying if we were it would be like an adult relationship not like...you know what I'm going to shut up" he laughs at your all to fast statement and leans down to kiss your lips.

"No worries beautiful, I know you want to go slow"

You felt a sense of relief wash over you, as much as you adored Jin and wanted to be with him. Your thoughts still lingered on Namjoon.

You hated that you were still worrying about him, wondering if he's eating enough or sleeping enough. You'd hope that he wasn't still with Sophie, but then again it wasn't your place to make that call.

You glance back up at Seokjin Who was back to watching the movie, his eyes glistened as he watched the screen and belt out in a laugh. You smiled up at him and enjoyed every lively feature about his face.

Maybe it was time to release yourself from Namjoon and let yourself fall for someone else. But how would you go about such a thing?
