"JA'FAR!!!" The teen shouted. Sinbad, Drakon and Lucy ran over to the boy. Lucy pulled him into her lap and cradled his head.

"...Ja'far... Ja'far... hold on Ja'far..." Sinbad whispered as he stared at the boy. Drakon knelt down and put his ear to his mouth, he isn't breathing.

"Sinbad... Ja'far, he's... already..." Drakon said. Zepar broke out in laughter behind the group.

"Nice. Good job, Ja'far. That's it. The resolve it takes to be able to throw away your life for the sake of your king... That's exactly how a loyal subject should act! I wanted to see how much pain you'd be willing to go through... for the sake of your king. You pass." Zepar said as he left Masrur's body.

"This fight is over. It was a good match huh?" He grinned in his big bellied form.

"Zepar! You went to far!" Lucy shouted at the Djinn.

"...A good match?" Sinbad said as he knelt down by Ja'far.

"Yeah! It was a good fight that brought out the strength of desperation. The first pair were able to surpass the limits of their own strength. And the next two showed their willingness to offer their lives for their master. I couldn't have asked for better results. You've got yourself some excellent subordinates! Now that's all over, what shall we do next? The next test will be..." Zepar said as he put his hand on his chin in thought.

"Quit fucking around." Sinbad said violently. He stood up and equipped into his Baal form.

"What do you think you are doing?" Zepar asked in shock. Sinbad raised his sword to the Djinn.

"Zepar. We are not your playthings. They took their fights seriously. They listened to your unreasonable requests. And because it was a trail set for us by a Djinn, I stood back and watched. If this... if this... is the outcome. I will not let you get away with this. Can you throw away your life for your king? How much pain are you willing to go through for the sake of your king? If those are the things that make someone a loyal subject, I don't want anything to do with them. I'll take it upon myself! Whether it means putting my life at risk or suffering... my friends are everything!! I don't understand your reasoning. But I'll make you regret... playing around with the lives of my friends!" Sinbad yelled in pure rage.

"It's pointless. Inside a dungeon, the Djinn is..." Zepar said but was cut off by the teen.

"Invincible right? But what if your up against the power of another Djinn? If you have to face Baal's power, are you sure that you'll come out unscathed?" Sinbad questioned while reading his sword.

'This man...' Zepar thought, stealing a glance at the blonde who cradled Ja'far.

'No wonder why she chose to stay with him...' He thought while he turned back to Sinbad who glared harshly at the Djinn.

"Geez... I said I'd leave things to you and what are you doing? If you this, then my death would have been all for nothing, wouldn't it? I asked you to take care of things so it wouldn't end up like this, damn it. How troublesome Sin." Ja'far said as he sat up out of Lucy arms. He spit out blood from his mouth.

"Wha..." Zepar said watching in shock as the boy stood up.

"Ja'far!?? T-That's impossible! Your heart had stopped... I confirmed with my own two hands!" Drakon shouted.

"Thank you Lord Drakon, but it was simple. I only appeared dead. I opened a small hole in my chest that drastically weakened my heartbeat for a short amount of time, putting my body in a death-like state. It only lasts for a few minutes but it's a technique that gives you the opportunity to deceive your enemy." Ja'far explained while rubbing his chest a bit.

"It's a technique that I developed during my time as an assassin, but I'm glad it's come in handy now... Now then we would pass if one of the two of us died, correct? I was dead for a moment, so your condition was met. Masrur and I both safely passed your test. You can't go back on your word now, Zepar." Ja'far said as Sinbad released his equip with a relieved smile.

"...That's how it is, isn't it Zepar?" Sinbad asked, standing next to Ja'far. Zepar clenched his fists and shook with anger.

"... Huh? What happened..." Hinahoho asked while sitting up along with Mystras. The two rubbed their heads in pain. Masrur sat up and looked at his hands.

"The fights over..?" The small boy asked himself.

"Hey!! Why's everything destroyed?" Mystras shouted down to the group.

"What kind of fight happened while we were unconscious...?" Hinahoho asked using his spear to stand.

"Hinahoho! Mystras!" Sinbad yelled up to them happily.

"Masrur... Ah! Are you alright!? Does anything feel strange? Do you feel dizzy?" Ja'far asked frantically to the fanalis.

"...I'm fine. Really, you look much more injured than me... Ja'far... ummm... I don't remember anything. What happened to the trail?" Masrur said, looking up at Ja'far.

"...Nothing. It's over now." Ja'far said with a small smile. Masrur raised an eyebrow but brushed it off. Everyone turned their attention to the Djinn.

"What the hell is this? What do you think you're doing? Do you really think you can win like that? This isn't a joke. I won't accept it. I can't accept something like this. I will not acknowledge you as king. You'll spend the rest of your lives here in this dungeon!!!" Zepar said in fury, glaring down at the group.

"... Fine with me." Sinbad said, returning his glare with one of his own.

"From the outset, we were only conquering the dungeon to help Heliohapt." Lucy said while brushing the dust off her dress.

"We'll force out way through!" Sinbad shouted, pointing his sword once more at the Djinn. Lucy turned towards Serendine.

"I'll take the metal vessel even if I have to defeat you and take it by force." Sinbad said while widening his eyes in anger.

"Why is he arguing with Zepar?" Hinahoho asked.

"What could have happened while we were unconscious?" Mystras asked.

"Well, in any case... if Sinbad is going to fight, then we'll fight alongside him!" Sinbad's group said in unison.

"I'll rip your souls apart." Zepar said while glaring ragefully down at them.
