The duo stopped at an inn for the night.

"Geez, how are you not even tired? My legs are killing me..." Lucy groaned as she flopped dramatically on the bed. Masrur set of bag down and jumped onto the bed next to her. Lucy pulled the boy next to her and cuddled him under the blankets.

Masrur sighed contently in her arms, embracing her warmth. She was the one who he thought of as mother. Lucy held him in her arms, she fed him, she taught him, she listened to him when he had doubts and fears. He really felt loved. He never felt like this. He didn't want it to go away. He would protect her from anything that threatened her.

Lucy gripped onto him tighter and cried softly.

He also knows that she has been having nightmares.

About all the tourture she had to go through. She had it worse than him. He knew he and Sin were used as leverage against her. He felt a similar warmth when he slept in his cold room. She healed him. She was whipped for it. He knew that when Sinbad would get hurt when he was punished, she would heal him too. Maader found out and punished her.

So he would be there for her when she needed him. For she was basically his savior. Sinbad was too. He brought down the place that held him prison for his whole life. Lucy guided him and Sinbad crushed his fears. They were like his parents. He would be his best self with them around.

-

In the morning, Lucy woke up first. She changed quietly into a toga like dress. It wrapped over her one shoudler and covered her chest. It was a pale green with gold outlines. A pin held it in place over her right shoulder and it reached her ankles. She wore gladiator sandals that went up her calves. A gold sash wrapped around her stomach and tied in the back, it really brought out her curves. She let her long blonde hair fall down her back. Her bracelet transformed into a tight white metal band that wrapped around her bicep. It was lined in gold and had a small engraving of a rukh on it.

Lucy got breakfast for the two, various fruits and a few slices of cooked pork. Masrur woke from the smell.

"Eat up! We are going to begin traveling again." Lucy grinned as she put the tray on his lap. The boy's stomach growled at the sight. Masrur sheepishly dug into his food, Lucy following suit.

"Would you rather go by boat or travel on land. Both will take a few weeks. I've sent a letter to Sin telling him when we will get there." Lucy asked, putting her empty plate on the desk.

"I feel like a boat would be more suitable." Masrur said while setting his plate beside hers. He rolled his shoulders and put his sword in his waistband. Lucy grabbed her bag and slung it over her shoulder.

"I bet we would catch one of the Sindrian Trading ships if we leave soon!" Lucy grinned, grabbing the boys hand. They ran together to the ports.

-

The duo managed to get onto one of the ships, luckily for them it was heading for the Balbadd ports.

-

They were on the ship for two weeks. It was sooner than expected when they docked at the ports.

The duo found Sinbad, Ja'far and Hinahoho by one of the small corners of the slum area.

"Hey! Long time no see!" Lucy jogged lightly over to them, definitely startling them.

"Lucy and Masrur!?" Ja'far yelped but grinned when he saw the two of them. Hinahoho grabbed the two and squeezed them in his arms.

"It's been too long! But maybe you can talk some sense into that idiot over there." The giant said, putting Lucy down and nudging her over to Sinbad, who hadn't even noticed the two arrived. She walked hesitantly over to him.

"Sinbad?" She asked. He turned around and widened his eyes.

"Lucy! You are back!" He yelled as hugged her. They both took a seat, dangling their feet off the pier.

"You seem out of it. Wanna talk about it?" Lucy asked as she poked the teen's cheek.

"It's just was King Rashid got into my head today." Sinbad said, not wanting to talk about it. Lucy nodded.

"It is just like King Rashid said, Building a country and maintaining will not be an easy task Sinbad. But if i know anyone who can do it... it's you." Lucy smiled as the boy looked over at her with a small smile.

"Thank you Lucy. I've made up my mind!" He said, jumping onto his feet.

"What is most important is that Parthevia has become a peaceful country. We were not aware of the situation except from what we heard from Drakon about General Barbarossa's coup d'etat, but it seems like he is not a villain without a plan. However, this information would most likely only make Drakon and the others uneasy. So, let's not tell them." Sinbad said, looking at the group. They all nodded at his words and he kept going.

"Anyways, it is good to hear that the war is finally over. Despite that, even though there are things I want to change about the world, there will always be countries that won't change, and organizations and people who promote injustice. I said I was going to save my home country, and I am not about to let myself stand in the way of my original goal. Besides... A new adventure on the dark continent is waiting for me!" Sinbad shouted with glee.

"I wonder what this wild, untouched land there will be like! Can we build our country there? It's so exciting!" Sinbad squealed while tugging on Lucy's arm annoyingly.

"Our next destination! The Dark Continent!" The purple haired teen gave the group a toothy grin.

-

"What's up? Is something going on?" A very young boy with unruly dark purple dreads said while leaning over his blonde friend.

"It's nothing. I just think they were all pretty strange." The small blonde explained to his friend.

"Hmph." The other said looking at the retreating backs of the oddball group.

"Oh well, let's go Alibaba." He said, holding his hand out to his blonde friend, who smiled up at him.

"Yeah, Cassim!" The blonde said grabbing his hand as they ran off to play some more games.

-

Alibaba is currently age five. It would be another thirteen years before he would officially meet Sinbad and his group...
