Fellow Fanalis

The children were given a room for the night, deciding to deal with the problem in the morning.

In the morning, Lucy was up bright early, considering she didn't sleep at all. After Serendine, Sinbad and Rurumu left, she quickly wrote her letter to Muu, telling him she was alright.

She found a light dress that covered her back. It was light pink and it hugged her voluptuous curves. A white sash was tied around her stomach and her long hair was done in a braid. She smiled, content with her outfit choice and walked out of her room to be greeted with an empty building. She fiddled with her bracelet. Lucy still had inhibitions with using magic ever since she got whipped last time she used it. She climbed the secret ladder up to the roof of the company building.

"Asfal Riih." Lucy held out her wand. Only a small tornado was in the palm of her hand.

"I guess after a while of not using it, I got rusty. I guess... or I am just afraid too..." Lucy whispered to herself frowning. The tornado disappeared.

"What are you afraid of?" A voice asked from behind her. She jumped in turned around. It was Masrur.

"Ahh... nothing... jus- I don't know." Lucy sighed at the fanalis.

"Is it Maader?" he asked, looking right through her.

"Y-Yeah... I haven't been able to use magic ever since we got back. I don't what is holding me back..." Lucy said while holding up her wand.

"Well, just do it. It's not like she is here anymore. I won't let anything bad happen to you while you try." Masrur said while sitting on the roof, a few feet away from her. She smiled and held her wand out.

"Shallal Baraq!" A ball of water floated in the air. Lucy closed her eyes and the ball grew. Masrur watched in amazement as the water grew bigger than the building they were standing on. Though he began to grow worried when it didn't stop.

"Miss Lucy, you should stop." Masrur warned as Lucy opened her eyes. She squealed when she saw the gigantic ball of water above their heads.

"Of my goodness... Masrur! Look! I did it!" Lucy giggled but stopped when she dropped to a knee.

"Gosh... this is a bit heavy... Run! I can't hold it anymore!" Lucy squealed again when the water bubble popped, sending a torrent of water down at them. Masrur reached out to Lucy but was pushed away from the water. They were pushed to either side of the roof, soaked to the bone.

Suddenly Lucy began to laugh. Like howl, dying of laughter. Masrur stood up and walked over to her.

"I- can...'t believe- I di-d that!" She laughed out, coughing up some water. She peaked at the fanalis who stood before her.

"I'm sorry Masrur, I honestly didn't think that would happen! Let me try something..." Lucy said, picking up her wand again.

"Har-har infigar." The water began to evaporate into the air. It was as if the mini tsunami never happened. Masrur touched his hair and found i to be dry and soft. He looked down at the blonde in front of him.

"Beautiful..." Masrur found himself saying to himself with a small blush. It quickly went away.

"Thank you Masrur! But back before any of that happened... why are you up here?" Lucy asked the boy who sat next to her.

"You and Sinbad brought me here. Gave me clothes, fed me great food, and gave me a bed to sleep on. There is this whole outside world that you brought me into but I don't know how to do anything. The best thing I can do is fight." Masrur explained as he heard said people come outside the building.

Lucy looked down with him and saw Sinbad and Hinahoho walk towards the building.

"Well, you are about to get your answer. Come find me inside when you decide." Lucy said. She kissed the top of his head and used gravity magic to float back down the opposite side of the building just before Hinahoho got up there.

Lucy walked around the building with a smile. She had gotten a letter back from Muu. He is doing a great job with the fanalis corp and she planned to meet up with him later on tomorrow.

She chatted with Serendine for a bit and ended up being dragged along with her so she could deliver Sinbad his clothes.

"Serene... I don't know why I have to go with you..." Lucy whined while being pulled along.

"Just think of it as moral support! Please!" The princess pleaded and smiled when she heard a mumble from Lucy. Soon she stopped running and Lucy handed her the clothes. With a nudge she pushed Serendine forwards, causing her to stumble up to Sinbad. Lucy watched from behind a wall with a grin.

Sinbad and a few others went to Balbadd. Lucy too Masrur and went to Remano to visit Muu and Myron.

"The people we are going to see are just like you Masrur." Lucy said to the boy who walked beside her. His eyes widened.

"People like me..?" He asked, trying to confirm if he heard right.

"Yep Fanalis just like you." Lucy said with a grin as they stopped in front of the manor.

"LUCY!!!" Myron shouted as she ran from the doors and into the blonde, she whined and dropped onto her butt.

"Heh... Myron. It's great to see you too." Lucy pet the crying girls head.

"L-Lucy!?!" Muu yelled as he came running out of the opened doors. He stopped when he saw her.

"Yep! I'm here! And I brought a special someone with me!" Lucy pointed to Masrur.

"Another Fanalis? What is your name? I am Muu!" Muu said while sticking his hand out to Masrur. The young boy shook the other's warily.

Soon they found themselves at the familiar dining table eating tons of different types of foods.

"So, where did you find this stray?" Muu asked, filling his younger sister's plate up with food.

"Well, technically Sinbad found him. I stole him for a bit while they him and a few others went to Balbadd, so they could officially move their headquarters over there. We met while we were slaves. Masrur here helped me a lot..." Lucy said while rubbing the boy's red hair.

"S-Slaves..?" Muu asked, dropped his fork. Lucy bit her lip, she didn't mention it to her friend in their letters.

"Y-Yeah... Sinbad and I kinda got enslaved by the, well used to be, Maridel Company. Masrur was forced to be a gladiator there." Lucy explained while glancing at Muu.

"That idiot. I really want to meet him now." Muu said holding up his fist.

"Well I bet you will in the future. For now, let's eat." Lucy said holding up her fork in triumph. Mryron grinned and followed suit. Muu frowned and looked at the bruises around the blonde's neck and wrists.

'How did I not notice that before? Curse this Sinbad for getting her involved in this.' Muu thought bitterly. He looked at Masrur, who stared blankly at him.

'Though they managed to save another Fanalis. For that I am grateful.' Muu smiled at the kid, who looked at his food flustered.

They all ate merrily together. Muu taught them all he knew about the continent, about the Fanalis tribe. Masrur soaked in every detail. He finally learn properly about his ancestors.

"We will visit again soon! Take good care of my books! I wish you good luck on finding more Fanalis!" Lucy waved as she and Masrur left to go to the headquarters in Balbadd. They spent the day training and learning together.

"Farewell Lucy! Masrur take good care of her!She tends to get into a lot of trouble." Muu shouted while waving his arms. Myron stood next to him waving her arms cheerfully. Masrur nodded and grabbed Lucy's hand. The two walked to Balbadd.
