Chapter 9: It Lives no More

Blue jumped out of the way as the metallian nearly pounced upon him. With it's big metallic hands, it tried to either smash or bash away Blue, but he was too smart for it. The others stayed in stragistic places and opened fire at the metallian. It didn't bothered itself about them as it trusted it's hard metallic skin to protect it from the gunshots. It was however having the desire to kill Blue, a desire that seemed to be programmed into it. It finally knocked Blue against a large mainframe computer and walked up towards him. Blue was dazed at first but later came back into his senses as he saw the metallian's big right foot getting ready to squash him. He moved out of the way by a close call and crawled towards his assault rifle and a pistol. The zombie followed him from behind in a deadly pace, chuckling in delight as it walked towards Blue. It was then that it got distracted by the other men who gathered themselves together to try and hold it down so that Blue could escape. But it growled menacingly at them and turned back to face Blue, only for it to see the latter holding the pistol. There was no warning as Blue accurately released the bullet, which successfully pieced the bastard in the left eye, making it to stagger backward to the mainframe computer.
So that was the trick huh? Thought Blue, hard on the outside but soft on the inside.
The metallian yelped and roared in pain as it's held his injured eye with it's left hand. The men seized fire as they saw it observing it's blood on the palm. With blood trailing down from it's injured eye, it went wild with anger as it grabbed the computer with it's right hand, jumped and tried to smash Blue with it, of which Blue escaped by doing a reverse chinese get-up. It tried to bash Blue with it again, and while the latter ducked to avoid it, most of the computer flew out from itself and almost hit the others who sharply dispersed in order to avoid getting hit and groaned in pain when they landed hard on the floor. Whatever that was left of it was torn by the metallian into two sharp rough halves.
With these, the metallian jumped and tried to cut Blue with the halve on it's left. He did a backflip and missed the attack by another close call. Roaring with anger, it attacked Blue firecely with the halves, and got pissed off whenever he either sidefliped, ducked, jumped, limboed or backfliped to escape it's attacks. But as it fought, it reasoned and did a trick. It tried to strike low with the left halve, and when Blue made the mistake of jumping, it turned quickly and bashed him away in mid-air with the other halve. Blue described a complete circle in mid-air and more circles as he rolled and tumbled on the floor.
He laid there, panting weakly. He looked to his left and saw a pistol within his reach. He looked to his right and saw the metallian dragging the metallic halves behind it in a death-threatening manner. He managed to roll over, grab the gun and opened fire at the metallian's eyes. It shielded it's eyes with it's left halve until Blue's ammo was finished. It threw the left halve away and growled angrily at him. While Blue threw the gun away and tried to crawl away, the metallian increased it's pace towards Blue as it's desire to end him grew wildly in it's heart.
But suddenly, a constant yell was followed by multiple shots which were fired at the metallian's left side of it's face. The first bullet alerted it as it hit it's blind eye and forced the metallian to shield it's face with it's left hand. It managed to get a glimpse at Blue's saviour while Blue was shocked to find Wallace with a machine gun. Wallace continued yelling and opened fire repeatedly, while the metallian smartly waited for his ammo to be exhausted.
However, Wallace had one last reload in his pocket. While he recharged, he yelled at Blue," Tell Joe that It was nice knowing him!".
The metallian burst into a sudden wave of rage as it ran towards Wallace. The latter, now ready, took his stance and opened fire. The metallian protected it's face with it's left palm while it jumped to kill Wallace with the remaining halve. Wallace didn't try to dodge, as he felt it was a cowardly thing to do, and so, he chose to die honourably.
You may be wondering where I was and why wasn't I trying to save my friends. I never abandoned any of my friends, no matter the circumstances around me. As it turned out, Wallace was standing near the hole the metallian had made, and it so happened that I heard his courageous words. With an anger boiling in me, I jumped out of the hole with the sharp rough triangular piece of a diamond table. I threw it at the uncautioned metallian in mid-air. It hit it in the chest, made it let go of the other halve and pinned it to the wall. I landed in front of the stunned Wallace, charged towards the metallian and pushed the thrown object through it's body. I then forcefully pulled it out from the metallian's body and threw the object away, revealing a gaping vertical hole in the chest. I didn't stop there. I dipped my thumbs into it's eyes and held it's head. It screamed, held my arms and struggled weakly against them. I kept turning it's head left and right until I finally ripped it's head off and halved the head in two. I placed my right foot on it's body after it had slumped to the ground, raised my head up and roared in triumph with widespread arms holding the halves of the prideful head. At last, I thought, it lives no more.
The others came out limping and stood with Blue and Wallace, and all of them looked at me in wonderment. I threw the halves away and looked at them. With a smile, I walked towards them and stood among them.
" I've seen many crazy things", commented Blue," But this is by far the craziest I have ever seen".
" I agree with Blue", said Wallace," You really are a madman Joe".
I smiled at their comments to let them know that I understood what they were saying.
" What happened to your body if I may ask?", asked one of the two remaining soldiers besides Lukeman.
" It's tied up behind that piece of juck over there", Wallace answered on my behalf as he pointed at the place where he hid throughout most of the fight.
" And how did he get a zombie body?", asked the other soldier besides Lukeman.
" Through a device called the Mind Heal", replied Wallace," He used it to switch minds with a Crusher zombie".
" What?", questioned Blue with a frown," How are we then going to switch their minds back without having to get killed by another large zombie?".
An argument then broke out among them as they argued on how to put me back into my body and kill the Crusher without having to get killed while doing it. I looked around me while they argued, taking notice of my surroundings even though they were now pieces of juck. My eyes rested on the object I had used to kill the metallian and an idea popped up in my head.
I immediately called their attention and said to them," I've got an idea".
