Two important things happened on the night of the Silver Ball:

1. The Gleeful brothers met in one of the Tent of Telepathy's many breakrooms, and

2. There was a mission to be done in the Mystery Shack.

Will Cipher popped into existance - right outside the Shack. His deadline to find out what exactly the Southeasts' secret was ended tonight at midnight. Only five more hours.

He snapped his fingers, and he instantly become nothing but his shadow. With this ability, he was able to slip inside the shack unnoticed.

Laughter came from the gift shop. Curious, Will floated into the shop and observed the scene from the rafters.

He nearly gasped when he saw who had been laughing.

Mentally reviewing the Wheel in his head, he pointed out the people with invisible hands one by one. Blondie with a ponytail . . . Llama. Green Plaid Shirt Guy . . . Stitched Heart. Question-mark shirt woman . . . Question Mark.

Were all members of his Wheel in Gravity Falls?

He certainly hoped not . . .

Question Mark glanced at the cover of the magazine she had been reading. "You guys know anything about Gideon and Mabel dating?"

Will threw his hands up in the air. Splendid - so now Pentagram was here, too?

"Better not let Mr. Gleeful see that," Stitched Heart warned.

Will had turned around to leave and continue his mission, but the name "Mr. Gleeful" stopped him. What was Stan Gleeful doing here? He whirled around, unable to believe his nonexistant ears.

Llama snatched the magazine from Question Mark's hands. "He probably knows already," she said, observing the magazine cover. "I wonder what the name for the new couple will be . . ."

"Mabeon?" Question Mark suggested.

"Gideable!" Stitched Heart suggested, a grin spreading across his face.

"No no, wait, I got it!" Llama cried, putting her hands in the air. "How about . . . Magidbeleon!"

The three burst into fits of laughter at that. Will narrowed his eye and turned around once more.

"Oh," Question Mark began, once they had calmed down, "Mr. Gleeful is visiting the Tent of Telepathy. Something about Gideon and his project."

Will was left still confused in midair. Mr. Gleeful was already at the Tent of Telepathy with Pine Tree and Shooting Star -

Once again, he froze.

He couldn't be here. Not him.

To test his theory, Will zoomed all over the house. Nothing. And he was positive there was at least something hidden in the Mystery Shack, but that stupid Gleeful had demon-proofed his entire fake museum.

Will muttered something under his breath that was in no way pleasant. Pine Tree's deal with him was that if he couldn't find anything in the Shack, he had to work for the Gleefuls.

An idea sparked in Will's mind.

Maybe . . . there was a way. A way to stop the members of his Wheel from entering Gravity Falls all at once.

He needed a bit more time. And an . . . assistant, someone who was close with the Southeasts. Or possibly Pentagram.

Without another thought, Will left the Mystery Shack, and he failed his mission on purpose.
