lisa and jennie were friends. that much is sure. they'd known each other since they were little kids as their mothers were best friends. they were always around each other since that point onwards too. in fact, jennie only lived down the road from lisa so they saw each other everyday without fail.

that is until jennie got a boyfriend. the gaps in the days lisa would go without seeing jennie grew bigger and lisa was getting withdrawals. call her silly but she felt jealous of this new boy because he was taking her jennie away from her and stealing her time with her jennie.

lisa hated the days in which jennie wasn't with her. sure lisa had other friends, but they weren't jennie. they didn't even live close so what's the point lisa thought. she was left alone most saturdays and sunday's which left her to think about many things. lisas mind whirled and one saturday afternoon, she finally came to the conclusion that she liked jennie. not as a friend, more than a friend. lisa knew deep down this was bound to happen, but she didn't think it would be this soon. she was only 18, she had time to think things through properly before she acted on it.

the following saturday, jennie had made plans with lisa to go shopping. lisa was thrilled, but when jennie showed up in a car that wasn't hers, lisa got confused. it wasn't until the car window rolled down until she saw kai's smug grin. her stomach dropped and she suddenly felt the need to vomit. she ran back inside and slammed the door shut, sending a quick message to jennie saying she was sick and couldn't come. lisas heart dropped even more when she received a message back. 'ok!' was what it said. not even an ounce of sympathy. the old jennie would have been over in a flash tending to a sick lisa, but kai changed jennie and lisa didn't like it.

that night lisa sat on her bed, covers tucked up under her chin, scrolling through twitter. she stopped and came across an account that shared their feelings on their crush. it was anonymous and lisa was intrigued. she skimmed through the account and an idea came to her mind. she hovered over the 'create new account' button for a few seconds before putting in a few details and making the account. lisa chose a profile picture, header, wrote a bio and followed a bunch of random accounts and went to sleep. she was exhausted to say the least so she closed her eyes and fell into a deep slumber.

a few weeks and tweets later, lisa found herself a generous following on her account dedicated to jennie. she didn't mind, jennie wasn't named in the tweets, so no one would ever know it was her, but all of the tweets were lisas thoughts and feelings about the certain brunette. some of the tweets were happy thoughts and some tweets were from lisas occasional fits of rage or sadness. but that's what made them unique.

jennie never even knew about this account and this is what put lisa at ease and made her tweet away.

lisa could breathe again. after two and a half years of miserably trying to hide her jealousy and sadness, lisa could breathe. jennie and kai broke up after that time as kai said and quote 'i'm breaking up because you won't have sex with me'. apparently jennie wasn't really bothered because she saw it coming for a long time. she loved him, but she didn't love him like she loved this other person. lisa was again, shot down because no way could this other person be her.

to lisa, jennie still didn't know about her account on twitter. lisa was pleased about it. lisa has gained a significantly large amount of followers in the past years and she's been grateful. she'd been reached out to by a couple of publishing companies, but turned them down because she didn't feel explaining why she got these random interviews to jennie. she couldn't really tell jennie 'yeah this publishing company reached out because they saw my heartfelt and heart breaking tweets about you on my secret twitter page'. lisa chuckled at herself and shook her head.
