-ok, this is a little (maybe a lot) heavy and it's not all sunshine and rainbows. i will put a trigger warning in it because this chapter involves terminal illnesses and death... i don't know if i will publish this but if you see this, then read at your own risk-

little bit about lisa:
she's not your average person, she's more than that. she can walk into a silent room full of moody people and make the mood right with one smile or her little 'helloo'. she is the human version of the sun. she radiates warmth and security wherever she goes. she also loved photography. ever since she could walk and talk, she had a camera in her hand. she grew up appreciating the fine details of her surroundings. she admired everything. especially her best friend and soulmate, chaeyoung.

little bit about chaeyoung:
chaeyoung is also very much like lisa. chaeyoung is also the human version of the sun. her warm aura was what drew people in. that's why she's such a people person. she loves making people happy. chaeyoungs ability to easily adapt to certain situations had been admired by many different people. that was the second main reason why she'd scored her modelling career at such a young age. the first reason was chaeyoungs natural beauty. she'd walk down the street and people would stop and stare. chaeyoung would stare too, but only at her best friend and soulmate, lisa.

the two girls grew up together, they went to the same school, they went to the same extra curricular classes, same doctors and opticians that you could say they were twin sisters. they were the best of friends. they had been friends since they met the first day of kindergarten. lisa, being the hyperactive child she always has been, bumped into chaeyoung and chaeyoungs juice box spilt onto her skirt. the two had been stuck together like glue since the moment lisa offered chaeyoung HER juice box.

best friends are supposed to tell each other everything right? wrong. lisa had a secret that no one knew about, other than the school board and her immediate family. lisa said that she didn't want anyone to know because they would just fuss over her and it would be annoying. lisas parents and the school board quickly agreed with lisa and would keep their mouths shut.

you see, lisa had a terminal illness. she was going to die, it was inevitable. she knew from an early age that she was 'poorly', as her mum would say. lisa knew she wasn't 'normal' because she was constantly going to and from the doctors more than the other kids were. she didn't let that bother her though. if she had a limited time on the earth, she would try to fulfil her one aim in life. to make her best friend happy.

lisa got the idea from many different sources. she chose aspects from each and moulded them together to create her own idea. she wanted to make chaeyoung understand why she didn't tell her about her secret.

(present day)

'lisa? do you ever think about the after life?' chaeyoung said while staring up the clouds. chaeyoung was laying on her back while lisa was playing with the settings on her camera. always with her goddamn camera. the question chaeyoung asked wasn't foreign to lisa, she wandered it all the time because y'know, she was dying.

'yeah why?' lisa replied holding her camera at eye level. she positioned the camera so that her focus point was chaeyoung, as always. chaeyoung turned her head towards the brunette girl sitting beside her and rolled her eyes. that goddamn camera. 'i don't know,' the blonde shrugged, sitting up from the blanket, 'i was just thinking about it because i heard some things at school.' chaeyoung finished. lisas head whipped up and she eyed the blonde.

'what things did you hear?' lisa asked curiously, turning to point her camera at some birds in the trees in front of her. chaeyoung inwardly laughed because she really couldn't get lisa away from the camera. 'well, the freshman were talking about their religious studies class where they were discussing life after death and i don't know, i got really interested. it stuck with me i guess' chaeyoung replied slowly. lisa nodded along because she really didn't know what to say. she couldn't exactly say "i'll find out soon because i have a week and a half left to live". she couldn't spring it on chaeyoung like that.
