Destiny's POV

"HOW DO YOU CONFIDE IN ANOTHER WOMAN, BUT NOT YOUR WIFE?!" I shouted, throwing a handful of popcorn at the TV. "YOU ARE A POOR EXCUSE OF A MAN, JAMES ST. PATRICK! AND AS FOR YOU ANGELA HOEDEZ....I HOPE TOMMY KILLS YOUR ASS!" I was catching up on Power, getting angrier and angrier by the minute, which was really more of my hormones then anything.

"Destiny? Are you alright?" Gail asked, as she cautiously entered the living room. "I heard you shouting from upstairs and I thought something was wrong."

"Oh yeah, no...I'm fine. Just watching this show." I struggled to sit up, grabbing the remote and pausing the show, getting up off of the couch to clean the popcorn I threw.

"Oh no, I'll get it. You just sit back down and relax." She bent down and started picking up the popcorn, while I sat back down and placed my hands on my stomach. "How are you feeling?"

"I have terrible heartburn, my ankles are starting to swell, and my back is killing me. Other than that...I'm feeling pretty great." I told her, not hiding the sarcastic tone in my voice. "Pregnancy is terrible, if I'm being honest, but it's well worth it in the end."

"That I believe." She smiled. "That's actually what I wanted to talk to you about. I uh...I turned in the adoption papers without talking to Jason, and well...we got approved!"

"Seriously?! Oh my God, that's amazing!" I hugged her tight, but she didn't return the same heartfelt hug. "Okay...I'm sensing that you're not as happy as I thought you would be, but this is great news."

"Yeah, it is, but how do I tell Jason this? We never really discussed having a child, but now that we actually have a chance...I don't know how he would feel about it."

"And you're asking for my advice?" I questioned, furrowing my eyebrows. "Because I don't have the best track record when it comes to announcing a pregnancy. When I told Christian I was pregnant with the twins...ohhh...he was pissed. I never seen him so angry, but eventually he came around. You should sit down with Taylor and talk to him about it. Tell him that you really want a child and that you've taken the first steps in the adoption process."

"And what if he doesn't want another child?" She asked, as the tears filled her eyes.

"Would that be a deal breaker for you? Would him not wanting another child change the way you feel about him?"

"No, of course not. I love Jason and if this isn't what he wants, then I'll just have to accept the fact that having a child of my own isn't in the cards for me." I could tell that she didn't mean that, but I didn't want to pry.

"If Christian wouldn't have wanted kids...that would've been a deal breaker for me." I told her. "Sure, we've never really talked about having kids at first, but after finding out that I was pregnant with the twins...everything changed. Not just for me, but with Christian too. We had a bumpy start, but things worked themselves out in the end, and I'm sure things will work out between you and Taylor." She sighed heavily, and nodded her head.
