My mom kept crying in the car as I kept writhing in pains. Tj's mom was the one driving us to the hospital while Tj was at the back, rubbing my back in circles. The pain I was feeling was bad, really bad.

My mom had already called the doctor before we left the house. We got to the hospital about thirty minutes later and a stretcher was waiting for me outside. They placed me on it and took me to the examination room. The doctor did a few tests and begged me to relax after injecting me with some pain reliefs.

After a while, the pain stopped and I was transferred to another room. My mom, Tj's mom and Tj all entered inside as soon as I was settled.

"How are you baby? Are you still feeling pains?" I shook my head and my mom hugged me, smiling with tears in her eyes. I looked at Tj and his mom and they had the exact same expression.

"I'll go and call the doctor so she can tell us what's wrong. You'll be fine okay?" My mom pecked my forehead and left the room.

"Hey baby. Don't worry, you'll be fine. Nothing is going to happen to you, you'll carry our babies safely and they'll come out and see their beautiful mother. You know I love you right?" He whispered, holding my hand and I blushed. I looked at his mum with my side eye and she was smiling at the sight.

"I know and I love you too." My mom soon entered with the doctor.

"Amy, how are you doing? Are you still feeling pains?" The doctor asked and I shook my head. "Okay good. So the pain was nothing serious, just a mixture of stress and coupled with the fact that the babies arr growing. You're entering your 13th week and your stomach is expanding." She said, smiling.

I could hear Tj breath beside me, it almost felt like he was holding his breath.

"So when can she go? Can she go this night?" Tj's mom asked.

"No. I need to still examine her and besides, tomorrow is her ante natal examination and it'll be better if she goes after that. Don't you think?" She asked my mom and she nodded.

"Okay, I'll stay with you this night. Can I get something for her to eat?" My mom asked and the doctor nodded. After that, Tj and his mom left with my mom with so much hesitation. I knew he didn't want to go at all, he was becoming clingy.

I looked at the time and it was 12:22am. That was pretty late and I knew TJ won't be able to sleep till around 2, at least there wasn't going to be traffic.

I soon slept off after a lot of thinking. I woke up to my mom calling my name. She came back with some food and change of clothes.

"You're going to eat rice right? I bought it from one fast food like that. I just hope it's not too spicy." She took the spoon and ate from it. " Okay it's not that spicy. Oya eat up, I brought your drugs too. I don't think you took them after eating." She said, setting everything on the table.

"I did oh but I didn't really eat much because of Maeve. She enjoyed the pounded yam and wanted more." My mom smiled and touched my neck and forehead with the back of her hand. I had no idea why African mothers loved doing that but I guess it's a thing for them.

I ate up as she watched me, she then put all my drugs together in a transparent plastic cup and gave me water to take them. I was led to the bathroom to have my bath and apply my insert drug.

After that, I fell asleep and that was it. I woke up to the voices of people. I opened one eye and saw my mom talk to the doctor.

"So she should just get bed rest right? That means she won't resume school any time soon right?" My mom looked stressed and I knew she didn't sleep last night. She was probably awake, trying to see if I'll start crying again.

"No, at least let her stay at home for a week. But after this term, she should just stay at home. Her bump is beginning to grow and it'll soon start showing." The doctor said and my mom nodded.

I opened my eyes and looked at the clock. It was 10:30. I straightened myself on the bed and that got my mom's attention, she quickly rushed to my side and hugged me.

"We'll go home soon okay? Are you hungry?" I nodded and she left the room with the doctor.

It was soon time for my examination and I knew Tj would soon come to the hospital with his mom since it was almost time for the closure of school.

I got into the examination room and my blood pressure, weight, urine test and some other things were done. She also did a scan to know how the babies were doing. Luckily, the saga yesterday didn't affect them. Their heart beat rate was normal and everything was good.

After about twenty minutes, Tj and his mom arrived at the hospital and we all went to the house. We got home and I immediately went upstairs to change out of the hospital wear. I hated the smell of hospitals.

Tj followed me to my room and I went into the bathroom with a short and tank top. After bathing, I wore my clothes and left the bathroom, I entered my closet and decided to look at my tummy in the mirror. The bump was really growing and it looked cute. Tj appeared at my back with his phone and we took some pictures. That was the first time we were taking pictures since I found out about the pregnancy.

"Where are these children? Amaka and Tejiri!" My mom screamed from wherever she was, Tj and I chuckled and left my room to meet her.

My mom and Tj's were talking and gisting and it was nice to see her relaxed for once. It was either she was worried about Ebube or she was worried about me. Well, that's what being a mother entails. You always worry about your children.

I went to the kitchen with Tj and took our share of Efo Riro and pounded yam. We sat down on the stools in the kitchen, placing our plates on the kitchen counter.

"Amanda picked a fight with Simi again today. Today's own was even hotter self, if not for Maeve, Amanda would have gotten some serious whooping." I laughed. I knew Amanda was going to go back. She was this type of person that hated humiliation and Simi gave her that yesterday, so she must have gone back to try to redeem her image and of course, with the back up from her friends that won't follow her to receive the punishment that was going to follow.

"She's a very funny person. I can just imagine Simi almost beating her and Maeve trying to hold her, it's a funny sight but why do people underestimate Simi alot? Is it because she's skinny? That girl has the energy of a horse." Tj laughed and we continued eating our food.

"Simi is the real definition of small but mighty. You know Seyi likes her right? But he doesn't know she's gay though. He has been looking for ways to tell her."

"Chai. Ehya. That's sad oh. He just fell for the wrong person, I pray God helps him to overcome the upcoming heartbreak." Tj chuckled and we talked like that till we were done.

Tj and his mom spent a while in our house before they went home. I went to my room to sleep while my mom told me Maeve was coming over for the weekend, mainly because I had to do my school work and Maeve's mom was also going out of town.

I woke up on Friday anticipating the fun weekend. I decided to take a walk down our estate since my mom wasn't around. I packed my hair into a messy bun, wore a pair of joggers and a polo together with a pair of slippers. I took my phone, ear piece and 1000 naira, only because I felt like eating chocolate and I wanted to get it from a supermarket.

I strolled to the supermarket and bought what I wanted. I was about to go back home when I heard my name. The person sounded very familiar, behind me were Aaron and Tomilayo standing side by side. I smiled and walked up to them.
