What's a Reconstructionist Heathen?
That's a term for Heathens who base practice and knowledge in history.
We're often called universalists as well.
We believe everything is essentially earth based. Such as: The gods are here with us, there aren't other realms, the afterlife is here as well.
We believe in an ancestral burial mound that we go to after death. (I find it lame but hey.)
We like I said believe in practice based in fact. Meaning we take a close examination at sources like the Eddas. Which most of us agree is just a fanfiction written to impress a young king.
Which is different from Odinists, standard Heathens, and Asatru.
