Valknut. Fact or Faked?

The Valor Knot also known as Valknut or Odin's Knot.

Some ancient Heathen writers and modern scholars and archaeologists have all said that the symbol is a sign of Odin and of death though is still a mystery. A majority of Asastru, Heathen, and NP agree with all of them.

But, this bloke down below seems to think he's right while everyone else is wrong. I'm aware of his "research" but I'm not sure he even knows what he's talking about. He seems like one of those people that will argue for an entire five hours saying that the sky is green. He also pulls the: 'I am a Heathen' card. He does say that the word Valknut was taken from a square symbol that symbolizes wood cutters in old Norway. So symbols aren't allowed to share a common name? He's jumping from on conclusion to the other.

The Valknut predates the wood cutting symbol of the Norwegians. Also, archaeologists dubbed the triple triangle that because it's a symbol that holds a geometric shape. It's basically a way to group something. Like labeling the Scottish Kelpie or German Vodyanoy as a sub species of Nix. I know about that because I know people from some Scandi and Nordic countries who actually do proper research on things and are adept in their culture). That and the word Val means Valor and Knut means Knot.
