it all happens in a blur, one second yeji was helping hyunjin with his shoes, and then the next thing they know hyunjin is on the ground crying. "what happened?" seulgi asks walking over and checking for injuries and calming him down. yeji doesn't reply instead she starts crying too. "yeji, what's wrong?" seulgi questions.

"he pulled my hat off, so i pushed him."

"yeji, that's not nice."

"but hyunjin started it!"

"he's a baby, he doesn't know any better."

"well i don't like him anymore." yeji complains.

"yah, lim yeji." jaebeom scolds, she frowns turning away from him, "look at me." he repeats the sentence until she finally looks at him, tears in her eyes, "why did you push your brother? you know that's not very nice."

"he was mean to me first." she cries again. 

"but you're the older sister, you're supposed to show him the right way, not bully him." jaebeom says seriously, and yeji looks over at seulgi. "momma isn't going to help you, what you did was wrong and you need to apologize to your brother." yeji tries to be cute, extending her arms out to hug her father, but jaebeom doesn't fall for it. "no, apologize to your brother."

"i'm sorry." yeji mutters.

"hug and kiss." yeji doesn't look happy, but she does give hyunjin a quick hug and kiss on the cheek. "see? that wasn't so bad." jaebeom compliments, "now put on your shoes so we can go."

"look at you...being the stern parent." seulgi teases as she picks hyunjin up. "it's kind of hot..."

"yah, do you want a time out too?" jaebeom teases before lacing up yeji's shoes. "actually, you probably need one more than yeji." once yeji's shoes are on, he picks her up, as they leave their house, heading to the parking garage and then their car. yeji cuddles into his shoulder, her own way for apologizing and jaebeom admits that he does baby her, so she's easily forgiven.

they're going on a family trip to a costume store, preparing for halloween. their building agreed to do something special for the kids, each house preparing a treat for them. seulgi's usually the paranoid parent, not accepting treats from randoms for their kids, but halloween is her one exception. "you want me to do what?" jaebeom questions as he pushes hyunjin's stroller. "why me?" he's just been volunteered to be yeji's escort while seulgi stays at home to pass out treats with hyunjin.

"because you're taking her to her school party anyway, might as well take her trick or treating too."

"but, dressing up? i didn't sign up for that."

"but it'd be cute."

"you want me to wear a dress."

"still cute."

"babe, no."

"why not? yeji's going as a doll, why can't you match?" seulgi wonders, holding onto yeji's hand as they look through a rack of costumes.

"because i don't want to dress up."

"yeji? do you want to wear the same costume as appa?"

"yes!"

"problem solved, you're wearing a dress." seulgi states, "now to find a dress..."

"honey...come on."

"you can fight me until your blue in the face, jaebeom, you're not going to win." seulgi states, "how can i convince you? jinyoung is going to match with lia, mark is matching with felix, you're not left out."
