"should we do just one flavor? that's pretty boring, no?" seulgi wonders as she and jaebeom walk through the aisle of their local store. three-month old jeongin is strapped to jaebeom's front, sitting nicely in a baby carrier and looking around.

"you're being very ambitious for the person not doing majority of the work."

"i told you that i'd help."

"two flavors, that's it."

"just two?"

"two."

"we have three kids, so we should do three flavors..."

"one of our kids, can't even eat solid foods yet alone cupcakes. two flavors." jaebeom states with finality, poking seulgi's cheek.

"fine, we'll go classic then. vanilla cake with chocolate frosting and chocolate cake with strawberry frosting?"

"wow, you complain about being boring and choose those flavors?"

"kids love those flavors, asshole."

"now i'm an asshole."

"yeah, you're being a party pooper. stop pooping at my party!" seulgi scolds, punching him lightly on the arm before wrapping around that same arm, and kissing where she punched.

"i'm sorry, i'm still a bit annoyed that you signed me up for this all because you let some other mom get to you."

"you're only saying this because you like her."

"when you say it like that... look, i don't like her in the way you're trying to insinuate, but we are friends."

"wow... you're friends with her. nice. great."

"hey, don't be like that." jaebeom frowns, cupping seulgi's chin and tilting her head up, "you can have friends that i don't particularly like, so why can't i?"

"what friends do i have that you don't particularly like?" seulgi wonders, mouth dropping in shock. jaebeom doesn't answer, instead he kisses her quickly before focusing on shopping again. "hey, don't ignore me!"

"you know, you're so cute and tiny." he teases, pinching her cheek, "yet, you're going to be old in a few weeks."

"you're older."

"i'm pretty sexy for someone in my thirties, don't you think?"

"no..." seulgi states though she can't keep a straight face. they're then reminded that they're not alone, jeongin sneezes, his feet kicking as he surprises himself by the noise. jaebeom laughs, holding onto jeongin's hands and bouncing him slightly.

"we're shopping. time to focus."

after getting all of the ingredients necessary for the cupcakes, the day is still young, so they head to a cafe for a simple lunch. "you should open a cafe next." seulgi suggests, flipping through the menu, "make coffee creations and name them after me."

"what would a seulgi coffee taste like?"

"i don't know, you tell me."

"younger me would take this opportunity to wax poetic about how you'd taste of sunsets, cherries, and bright citrus. but older me knows you're a basic ass iced latte."

"basic?" seulgi pouts as she takes jeongin out of his carseat to feed him.

"classic, not basic. bad word choice on my part." jaebeom corrects, "everyone's go-to drink."
