"SISSY!" Blair? She topples me over and I pull her into a hug.

"Blair, I told you to wait," a woman's voice says walking towards the door. Wait, I recognize that voice. The woman makes her way to the door and we lock eyes.

"Lauren," she says breathlessly.

"Mom." I try to hold my tears back but they fall down my cheeks. She swings her arms around me and pulls me close almost knocking Blair over.

"I thought I would never see you again," she whispers in between her sobs.

"Ivy, have you seen Blair?" A male voice interrupts. Dad. He stops as soon as his eyes hit mine.

"Lauren." I pull away from Mom and I run into Dad's arms. I had always been closer to Dad than Mom because she used to go on business trips often, so it was just Dad and me, but once Mom found out that she was pregnant with Blair, she decided to stop, hence why Blair is close to Mom.

"I missed you so much, bean," he says with tears streaming down his face. He also called me my nickname from childhood. We pull apart and I see Hunter standing by the car and another two cars pull into the driveway. My hand covers my mouth when I see my in-laws get out of the car. Harper and Axel both walk over to me and pull me into a hug.

"Mommmmmmm, why did you drag me all the way to London?" Oh, Damon, whiny as ever, plus he had a voice crack. Ha, he hit puberty.

"Damon, can you not complain?" Harper says turning towards him.

"But, Mom," he says dragging her name out, "I'm tired. I have the right to complain."

"Wow, Damey, since when did you get so whiny?" I ask moving into his line of sight.

"Laurel." Once he says my name, he stands there with his eyes wide open. I have never seen him cry. He says that he is a strong boy that doesn't need to cry, but at this moment he can't contain the emotion that are overcoming him. Tears stream down his face and I rush to his side and I pull him into a hug.

"I-I t-thought y-you were d-dead," he stutters out crying into my chest. I cradle his head in my chest and he lets it all out. I can't believe that it has been a year without him. I look past him and I see Hadley and Juniper having an intense conversation in the car. Huh, I wonder what that is about.

"Why the hell did you let them drag our asses back here?" I ask

"Why the hell did you let them drag our asses back here?" I ask.

"I didn't have a choice, they were insistent," they reply.

"That is why you say that you have work or an important meeting that you can't miss."

"They still would have dragged me here." I focus my eyes on the road and I pull into a driveway. I turn my head and I see her standing there.

What.

The.

Hell.

Once Damon had calmed down, he left my arms and move back over to Hunter

Once Damon had calmed down, he left my arms and move back over to Hunter. Hadley and Juniper got out of the car they were in and rushed over to me.

"LAUREN!" They both yell. They pull into a bone-crushing hug and I lose my ability to breathe.

For once everything is okay.

I just didn't know that trouble was lurking around the corner.
