Semblance:
An uncontrollable static semblance that randomly changes Yara's emotions. In times of quiet and peace, her semblance rarely acts, if not at all. The more intense her natural feelings, the more her semblance fluctuates. Depending on the amount of emotion her semblance portrays, she can be invisible to Grimm, or act as a beacon for them.
Weapon of Choice:
Peace Breakers
A pair of haladies that allow Yara to slash and strike quickly with both hands. Both can transform into machine pistols with the blades repurposed as underbarrel bayonets. Peace Breaker's design is inspired by the weapons her father used in battle.
Wardrobe:
- Light brown hair with green highlights, ponytail in left side of head
- Wears dark brown, short strapless dress
- Detachable olive green hood that covers shoulders and upper chest
- Black short shorts, half covered by dress
- Knee high, brown leather boots
- Several silver and gold rings on fingers
Backstory:
Yara was the child of two huntsmen, who were both very dedicated to their work. Not long after Yara was born, her father was killed while defending a village from a Grimm onslaught. In response to her husband's death, Yara's mother retired as a huntress and spent most of her time watching over Yara, fearful of a similar situation to that of her husband. Yara grew up hearing countless stories of her father, Alastair, and his victories, making her dream of becoming a huntress like her mother had been. As much as Elpis was against the idea of letting her daughter run into battle, she agreed to help train Yara to fight. Yara based her weapon, Peace Breaker, on the lost blades of her father. Elpis made it very clear that the creatures of Grimm were extremely volatile and ruthless, hoping to make Yara tread lightly when facing Grimm. Elpis succeeded, and when Yara was finally seventeen years old, she was off to Beacon, where both her parents had once studied.
