Aster has complete immunity to fire and burning. This allows him to freely use fire dust in close quarters.

Current Weapon of Choice:
Snow Chaser
A combination of a gauntlet and a bracer that covers Aster's right forearm and wrist. The gauntlet is infused with a dust fabricator, allowing Aster to use dust and form weapons from dust energy. Due to his semblance, he chooses to primarily use fire dust. His usual weapon of choice to form is a curved hilt flamberg rapier, or a pistol similar in design to General Ironwood's Due Process that shoots balls of fire.

Wardrobe:
- Keeps chestnut brown hair very short, shaved on sides
- Wears a closed, dark gray Atlas coat, with tails cut off, very similar in style to General Ironwood
- Black dress shirt underneath coat
- Orange tie tucked into coat
- Uniform Atlas student pants, dark gray

- Usually rolls sleeves of coat up to elbows

Backstory:
Aster is the little known secret of Carmine Carraway, the lead weapons manufacturer in Atlas, granting weaponry to nearly all of the four kingdoms. For most of his early childhood, Aster was taken care of by his father's servants, rarely seeing his father until his teenage years. His father put business before anything, including Aster himself. With Carmine Carraway and Jacques Schnee working together frequently, Aster was naturally introduced to the to-be Schnee heiress that happened to share his age. Aster became close friends with Weiss Schnee very quickly, and for several years, did his best to never leave her side. From a young age, Aster looked up to General James Ironwood, hoping to one day serve the Atlas military.

Without the burden of a family legacy to uphold, Aster was able to practically leave his home and train under Ironwood. At age 11, Aster began learning military strategy, combat, and leadership skills from Ironwood himself. In the six years Aster spent under the General's wing, he came to revere the General, in a way finding the father figure he never got to have in Carmine. Aster was on a fast track to an easy spot in Atlas Academy, and it was obvious he would serve as a Lieutenant to the General after graduation, but his plans changed just a month or so before his time in Atlas Academy would begin. Aster's life-long best friend chose to leave Atlas and instead attend Beacon Academy, solely to escape the influence of her father. Aster decided to follow Weiss to Vale, abandoning his hopes of serving under the General for the time being.
