The Blemmyes lunged from the fallen trees it'd knocked over it its fall and dove straight for Linen and I. I was as ready as I could be to assist Linen in any way to kill this thing, but it appeared she had no plans on taking it together. Its right hand reached toward her, and she used what I presumed to be her semblance again, dodging the attack and pulling me away, across the clearing. I had no chance to ask what she'd just done. She repeatedly used her ability to reach the Blemmyes in under three seconds, reappearing several times on her trip there. Her target swung to where it guessed she would appear next, but assumed incorrectly, with Linen striking from behind, slicing off it legs without even being seen by the Blemmyes or I. It did its best to not fall forward onto its chest/face, but inevitably collapsed and began dissolving. She killed it in under ten seconds. Linen stopped using the dashes and walked to me normally, attaching her weapons to her belt. I walked toward her, so that we would meet in the middle of the clearing.
"Thank you for that. I don't know if I would've been able to get out of that without your help." I thanked her.
I expected another handshake when we met in the clearing's center, but she walked past me, continuing our mission without stopping. "Don't mention it, and don't let that kind of thing happen again. You might not be so lucky to have me around next time." She recommended assertively.
"Thanks for the suggestion." I replied, following her into the trees, abandoning the clearing. The Blemmyes' corpse had just finished dissolving, blowing into the air and vanishing forever. Linen kept her back to me as we walked, staying quiet unless spoken to. "So, was that super speed thing you did back there your semblance?" I asked. I was pretty sure I already knew the answer, but any conversation with her is good.
"Yes, it was." She abruptly answered. "What's your's?"
How should I put it? "I get strength from happiness around me. I hate to compare myself to a Grimm, but it's kind of like the way they're drawn to fear and overall negativity. I'm empowered by the opposite. Joy, excitement, love, hope, kindness, and so on." I didn't want to bore her right off the bat, even though she seemed bored the moment I met her last night.
A loud sigh came from Linen's mouth. She was obviously not a big fan.
"Something wrong?" I asked.
"Are you weakened by the opposite? Does it hurt you to be around unhappiness?" Linen questioned.
I knew exactly why she was asking. "Yeah...?" I answered her, half regretting telling the truth. I felt her reaction in my aura. She definitely wasn't happy about my semblance.

"Hello?" The first call was echoed and quiet in my ears. "Are you okay?" Before I was able to process the question something hit my chest and my eyes opened. I jolted from unconsciousness and was immediately greeted to a girl with bright teal eyes. She was knelt next to me, with her hand still on my chest. Now awake, I felt intense pain all around my upper body. The grass was torn up around where we were. I must've landed here and hit the ground a little too hard.
I sat up and was level with the girl that woke me up. She had bright green hair, with a load of it tied into a ponytail on the left side of her head. "Are you okay?" She asked again.
I shook my head quickly to brush off the confusion and met eyes with her. "Yeah, I'm good. Thanks for waking me up." I appreciated, motioning to get up. She removed her hand from my chest and stood up with me.
