"Jane's back!" Ashton cheers as me and Luke approach them on Monday morning. The other boys soon join in with Ashton's cheers and I'm attacked by hugs from them.

"Guys, you saw me on Friday." I say, wrestling my way out of the multiple hugs.

They finally let go of me and I can breathe. "Yeah, but I haven't seen you at school for almost a month." Calum says.

"Math was kinda dull without you, I had no clue what the fuck I was doing." Michael adds.

"Well, you're stuck with me now." I chuckle.

Before we know it, the bell rings and we're off to our first lesson. Calum, Ashton and Michael walk ahead, while me and Luke are left trailing behind.

"What do you have now?" Luke asks.

"Chemistry." I sigh. "And then art."

"I'll see you at break then." He smiles, walking into the geography block.

I enter the science block, which was already filled with people, and attempt to find my classroom. As I look over the heads of all the students crowding the corridor, trying to see the room numbers, I walk into a tall, blonde girl wearing the shortest skirt possible.

"Watch where you're going." She snaps. Then our eyes meet and she seems to recognize me. I instantly recognize her, it's Amber.

"Your Jane Smith aren't you?" She asks.

"Yeah." I mutter, trying to push past her.

"Why do think you have any right to go near Luke?" She sneers, pushing me into the wall.

"I'm Luke's friend, that's why." I snap.

"Oh, don't lie to me. We all know you only want him as your boyfriend. That's the reason you stole him from me."

"I never stole him from you." I yell, pushing her into the lockers and receiving cheers from the group of students now crowed around us. "He chose to leave you, I never made him do that."

"You watch what you say." She sneers, towering above me. "I could ruin you, everyone will believe whatever I say instead of you. So I'd watch your back if I was you."

"Why the hell should I care? Your just a bitch whose looking for someone to have sex with." I argue, pushing her so she nearly falls into a nearby bin.

"Right, that's it." She screams, lunging at me. Her nails digging deep into my skin, and her feet standing firmly on top my toes. I punch her, not wanting to go without a fight.

"Jane?" A very confused Ashton shouts, running down the corridor towards us. "What the fuck are you doing?" He instantly begins to try and pull us apart, but it doesn't work very well. Amber is naturally very tall, but seeing as she was wearing incredibly high heels as well, she towered well above Ashton. Amber doesn't loosen her grip on my arm, her screams get higher and her nails dig deeper into my arms. She doesn't stop until the Principle appears.

"Jane smith! Ashton Irwin! Amber Johnson! What on earth on you doing?" He roars.

"That's what I said." Mutters Ashton.

"Go straight to the medical room." He says, looking at my arms which were now bleeding along with Ambers nose. "And then to my office immediately."

The crowd that had been watching the fight soon disperse, and me, Ashton and Amber make our way to the medical room.

"What actually happened?" Ashton asks.

"She just attacked me." Amber says, beginning to fake cry. "And I was so helpless, and it was horrible!" She continues to fake sob into Ashton's shoulder, but he pushes her off.
