One time I was listening to music and i was depressed at the time so it was was depressing crappy music.
Broski walks in and tells me if I want to listen the kings of hip hop.
I said sure, we sat listened for hours on end to 2pac, biggie, Nwa and also eminem. Mostly Eminem because he was favorite out of all of them.
Then he asked if I wanted to listen to the king himself, so i got ready to jam out. Then some classic music my grandparents probably listen too.
I was confused and then he said listen with your heart Mijo.
I never knew that music was spoken through the heart. And Elvis that day tought me that.
Thank you for teaching me how to listen to music bro.
Listening with your heart goes a long way in many ways.
You taught me a life lesson.
