Will's POV:

I wake up, not excited for school. It's not just about who I don't want to see, but also about the fact I don't know what is going to happen.

I let myself think while I slowly get ready. Does Mike actually like me, or did he just not want me to feel bad. Will Max find out I told Mike? Will I tell Lucas and the rest of the party now that Mike knows?

These questions make it so much harder to go to school. I groan as I get out of bed and pull on a hoodie that is laying on my floor. I sulk to the kitchen and grab a breakfast bar and leave for school.

When I get there I don't wait to see the party outside of school, I just go to my locker. I have no need to see any of them especially Max or Mike.

I get to my first period really early and I take a seat in the front of the room. I usually sit in the back so that I don't get caught doodling, but today, for some reason, I don't wanna doodle because I usually doodle what's on my mind and whats on my mind is Mike.

Before I know it, it's lunch and I have to face my friends. I walk over to our table to see Mike sitting next to Lucas and Max who are snuggling. I don't see El. Where is she? Did she not come today?

"Hey Will!" I hear Lucas's voice chime.

"Hey." I mumble sitting across from Mike. I hear Max giggle and I try to ignore her. "Where's El."

"Couldn't make it." Max responds with a mouth full of potatoes. "She's sick."

I look down at the table and then slowly let my eyes glance up at Mike. Our eyes meet for a split second, but then we both break it. His face gets red and I can feel mine burning. Thank god Max is too caught up in Lucas to see what just happened.

"Where's Dustin?" I ask as I notice that he is missing as well.

Lucas looks up from Max. "He's with the new girl. What's her name? Pam?"

I internally roll my eyes. I start to eat my lunch and every now and then I get to stare at Mike and his beautiful eyes and his fluffy hair. El is so lucky
