Will's POV:

When we get to school we park our bikes. I see Lucas, fiddling with something in his hand. Kinda looks like a rock. I smile, remembering the wrist rocket.

"What is it?" Mike asks nudging me. "You okay?"

"Yeah. I just need to tell Lucas something." I look and see Mike concerned.

"What is it?" He asked as his eyebrows scrunch together. "You can tell me anything."

I smile. "Oh. It's just, you know what I told you about Max? How she tried to date me and Lucas?"

Mike nods. "Yeah."

"Well, she found out that. I like. Um. You, and she threatened to tell you, him, Dustin, and El if I ever told him.

"Will." Mike stops walking. He looks down at his shoes. "I don't know if I'm ready to have everyone know that I'm." He pauses. "You know."

"So you want me to just not tell him?" My voice squeaks as it gets louder.

"Will! Wait!" I hear Mike's voice as I storm off and feel anger building inside of me.

I can't just not tell him. That is lying and friends don't lie. He needs to know that he's in a unhealthy relationship.

When I get to my locker I see Max as she skips gleefully over to me. "Hey! Today is a beautiful day, isn't it?"

I roll my eyes and look back to my locker. "You know what Max? I really don't care that your life is going perfectly."

"Geez! Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning, didn't they?" She struts off and I roll my eyes.

Today is going to be great. Just great.
