Will's POV:

I saw El right behind Mike while he was saying everything I've ever wanted for him to say. Her eyes were glued on mine and I felt a pit in my stomach. Mike looked behind him to see her.

"You love Will?" her voice cracks and she bolts up the stairs.

Her words hit me with a ping of emotion. I try as hard as possible to keep my tears in my eyes, but they roll down my face one by one. I wipe them away as each tear reaches my cheek. Why am I sad? He loves me. This is all I've ever wanted.

Mike looks over at me with those big and beautiful eyes of his and I see the pain locked inside of them. Without a thought, I walk over and wrap my arms around him and he does the same. He presses his face into my shoulder and lets out the sobs that have been locked in.

Max stands up and leaves dramatically. I feel relived, I won't have to deal with Max blackmailing me anymore. I look around the room to see Lucas and Dustin smiling. I think it just took them a minute to process everything. I feel Mike's sobs quieting. He pulls away from me and looks into my eyes. I see his once more, before he shuts them and blindly presses his lips to mine. I close my eyes and kiss him back. I feel my heart jump and move around in my chest. I slowly pull away to see his red tinted cheeks. I look to the side to see Dustin and Lucas are gone. Mike and I laugh and he pulls me in once more.
