Part 10
The car ride home was silent, apart from my occasional sniffle. "Lilith, honey, just tell me what's wrong. Maybe I can help you!" He pleaded. "I, I uh," I stammered "I just don't feel good..." I lied. "You know, I know that's not true." He said looking from me, to the road, then to me again. Over and over again. "I just, can't talk about it yet." I said fighting back sobs. Couldn't he just let it go?
~Justin's POV~ Why wouldn't she tell me? I hope it wasn't something I did... I'd been nothing but nice to her! She'll tell me, eventually. Everything was going great until she started crying... I actually had a VERY nice time, I hope I'll see her again. "Ok, we're here. Are you sure you don't want to talk about it, Lil?" I asked her. "Erm, yeah. Thanks for tonight, it was fun. I'll call you, Justin." She said without looking me in the eye. We said our goodbyes, and I watched her as she walked into her apartment building. I wanted - and I planned - to kiss her, but I just couldn't after she cried like that. Dangit. "Well that was a very, interesting night." I whispered to myself as I put the car into drive. And like that, our date - or whatever it was - was over.
