~Justin's POV~ Lilith screams, doctors rush in, we are rushed out, and I'm pulling Lilith away from the window so she wouldn't watch. I finally got her away from the window - with a fight - and she just broke down, crying in my lap. Letting out all the tears she had been holding in that day. It broke my heart, seeing her like this. "Shhh, it's okay. Lil it'll be okay! Shhh don't cry, please." I said attempting to calm her, but failing miserably. It was one thing to be leaving her while her mom was in the hospital, but leaving her right after her mom died?! How was I going to do that? "Justin?" Her voice pulled me from my thoughts. "Yes, Lily?" I said with her still lying in my lap from when she was crying. "I, uhm. Thank you." She said plainly, I knew she was going to say something else, but I didn't really care at the time. I just smiled and ran my fingers through her hair comfortingly. I started to sing to her again, same song as last time. She seemed to like it.

Settle down, it'll all be clear.

I felt something wet - a teardrop I assume - fall on my knee where Lilith was lying, was she crying again? "Lilith, honey, are you okay?" She didn't answer at first but finally she took a deep breathe. "My mothers dead." My heart shattered. Poor Lilith! What am I supposed to say to that 'oh yeah your mother just died and there's nothing anyone could do about it.' Well I definitely won't be saying that... "I'm so sorry Lil. So, so sorry." That's all I could say. "I just-" she stopped mid-sentence and sat straight up. "What?" I asked her. "My moms dead, I'm going to have to live with my dad." Oh. My. Gosh.
