Part 15
~Justin's POV~ So here we are, in the hospital waiting room. Lilith is just sitting there staring at the wall, frozen. And I'm beginning to worry. "Lilith? Are you okay?" I asked her. She didn't reply for a second, but then she slowly turned her head to me. She had the angriest look on her face and honestly, I got a little scared. Just a little. "Am I okay? Am I OKAY?!?!" She practically yelled at me. "My mother is in the HOSPITAL because she had a HEART ATTACK. And your asking if I'm OKAY?!" I shrunk down. "I-I'm sorry Lilith I didn't mean to o-offend you." I stuttered. "Oh my gosh.. I, uh, I'm sorry.. I just..." She stopped mid-sentence and ran out of the hospital waiting room. I ran after her, of course. "LILITH. LILITH WAIT!" I screamed while running out of the hospital to catch her, I finally caught up to her and grabbed her hips and spun her around to face me. "Lilith what's wrong? Please tell me this time!" I pleaded with her. "I-I am so sorry I b-blew up like that." She said in between sobs. "Hey, that's okay Lil. Your going through a lot. It's okay! Now, what's wrong?" I asked without taking my eyes off her. "I had an abusive father. Okay?" I froze, my jaw dropped, and I just stood there. ~Lilith's POV~ Oh. My. Gosh. I can't believe I just blurted that out... And he just stood there! Staring at me. I squeezed my eyebrows at him waiting for a response. "I-I'm so, so sorry Lilith. I didn't know-" "How could you? Don't worry about it. Me and my mom left a while back. I'm just really worried about her." I said without making eye contact. He lifted my chin to look at him and he had this look on his face that seemed like he didn't know what to do. And then, he did something that I sure didn't expect.
