~Lilith's POV~ My breathing hitched, and I felt as if I was frozen. "Lilith." My father said nodding his head at me. "Father." I said back, refusing to call him 'dad', because that was a term of endearment. And I definitely wasn't going to give him any satisfaction of the sort. "Been a long time. Who's this here, huh?" He said, motioning to Justin. "That's Justin." I said plainly. I decided not to tell him he was my boyfriend, because all that would do is cause problems later. ~Justin's POV~ "That's Justin." Is all she said when her father asked about me. I was a little hurt that that's all she said, but I understood. I put my hand out for Lilith's dad to shake it, - I wanted to be as polite as possible, to at least try to get on his good side - but he didn't shake my hand. So I awkwardly just put my hand in my pocket. "Could I have a moment alone with my daughter?" He said to me. I looked at Lilith, and she nodded telling me it was okay. "I simply walked out of the room. I wanted to stay in there to defend Lilith if he tried anything, but honestly, what could I do? Her dad was a big man. I was just really worried. ~Lilith's POV~ I watched as Justin slowly walked out of the room, and I felt very unsafe. "So, Lilith. It's been years, since you left." He said emphasizing the word 'left'. "Yes sir." I say, not making eye contact. "LOOK at me when I'm talking to you!" He raised his voice just enough to get my attention but not too much to get attention from anyone in the hospital. I simply look his way so it looks like I'm looking him in the eye, but I'm really not. I learned how to do that years ago. "So your coming back with me, gonna be like old times again." He says smirking. I resist the urge to puke. "Yes sir." I say again, and he walks towards me. "Is that all your gonna say to me after these years?!" He looks like he's about to hit me, but the nurse walked in, followed by Justin. Thank goodness. "Hello Lilith, here's your pills for your headache." She says handing me a bottle. "Thank you." I say giving her a half smile. Why did my mom have to die?
