Chapter 5 -The Library

I woke up to the smell of bacon , I instantly rolled of the couch and practically crawled my way to the kitchen. When I arrived I got a weird look from Kyle before he burst out laughing. "Get off the floor you idiot !"He shouted in between the laughing , I laughed slightly before getting up onto my feet. I made my way to the 'holy' fridge and grabbed a carton of milk , and started drinking it straight from the carton. "Dude! I drink from that too!" , "Yeah! I know !" , " You are so feral!" , "I learn't from the best" I replied and we both nearly fell to the floor in laughter. This was the funnest time I have had in the past 2 years.
Eventually through all the laughter , rolling around on the floor and Kyle somehow getting bacon in his shirt we made it to school. We got a few weird looks as we entered. Probably because I was on Kyle's shoulder , yelling at him to put me down. Which of coarse he didn't. Then for some strange reason my eyes came to find Percy. Well a very pissed off Percy. I watched as his jaw clenched and his hands rolled into fists before he stormed off towards the entrance. 'Iwonderwhatthatwasabout' I think to myself as Kyle finally puts me down. "Hey, why does Percy hate you so much?" I asked Kyle.  I looked over at him waiting for an answer but instead I noticed his face had turned rather pale.
"Kyle Is -" he cut me off , "We used to be friends. Don't go near him" He replies bluntly before walking off. I sighed. Great , now I've been told what to do by two people.

I sat there. In my little corner of the library , endulging in the stunning works by Derek Landy. Well that was until a pile of books fell on me. I cried out as a heavy book landed on my hand. I heard footsteps before a guy appeared at the opening of the little corner. "Oh my , I'm so sorry!" He said rushing over , taking the books off the top of me. " I was just...I was just sorting them...when they..ah fell through." He stuttered out , it was kinda adorable. I rubbed my hand as he stacked the books into piles. I looked at his features for a momemt , He had blue-black hair , that was slightly messy , with shining green eyes , and a pair of nerd glasses. He wasn't extremely tanned either but it suited him. "It's Ok you know, it was only an accident. My names Skyler , what about your name?" I say as his looks up , a soft smile playing on his lips. "My names Josh, It's nice to meet you Skyler" he replied before picking up the books ," Well cya!" I called out as he left the room. I was surprised yet intrigued by the boy as I'd never seen him around the school before.....

I laid down on the couch still wondering about Josh. I had been at the school for 4 years and never seen him around. Maybe he was new or something. I sighed. It was like everything was starting to work out well for me. I heard Kyle enter the lounge room as I rolled over, pretending to be asleep. "Skyler , I'm not stupid. I know that you're awake." Kyle said moving my legs so he could sit down. We had already had dinner and now I was just cuddling up next to Kyle , watching 'Friday The Thirteenth'. I let out a blood chilling scream as Jason kills one of his victoms. Kyle just sat there , wrapping His arm more tighly around me. By the time the movie finished , Kyle and I were shaking with fear. "  You scream like a girl!" I screamed , watching as Kyle's face glowed red. " Do not!" He shouted back. I swear we kept the neighbours up , with all the screaming and laughing. Yet strangly enough my mind couldn't stop thinking about Josh. Their was something about him , something that drew me too him but what.....
