Chapter 15 - Alcohol Can Do Wonders

I sat in the resturant , Josh holding my hands in his as we waited for our food. He was telling me about how he had found Ginger and why she was such a special cat to him. I thought it was cute how much he loved the little thing. I loved little Ginger too but you could tell he loved her so much more. I laughed as he told me about this time when Ginger was sitting ontop of the door and fell on him as he walked out.

Just as he was about to tell me another story the waitor returned with our food , I had ordered spaghetti and meatballs and so had Josh.

We ate in silence until Josh decided to ask about Katie. " So, Kyle told me about this girl called Katie. She said she knew you?" He asked , my breathing momentarily stopping. " Yes. I did know her." I say softly. " She said you and her sister were best friends, what happened?" He pushed , I started to fumble with my fork. " Allie...was killed in a car accident. Katie was driving and Allie and I were in the backseat...a car drove into the side of us. Hitting Allie's side.Killing her instantly...." I mumble as Josh's eyes widen, " Oh Skyler I am so sorry" He says while rubbing my hands. "It's okay. You would have to know about it sooner or later" I say as I look up at him offering him a small smile.

We had finished our food , and now were back in Josh's car. Josh had changed into a pair of black skinny jeans and a blue button down t-shirt and his vans. We were on the way to the party, and I felt like throwing up. We stopped out the front of the house , the party was already in full swing. " You know we don't have to do this" Josh says placing a reassuring hand on my shoulder. " It's okay. I can do this" I say taking in a deep breath before hoping out of the car. I noticed Kyle's car was also here and I felt a little more relieved. As we stepped into the house , their were people grinding all over each other , wasted people on the floor and drugs gallor. I had never been to a party like this. It was out of control.

I made my way to the kitchen , picking up one the red cups. I started to gulp down the bitter liquid. If I was going to do this , I wasn't going to be doing it sober. I grabbed my self another cup before making my way to the dance floor , swinging my hips in time with the song. Gulping down the rest of my second cup , I threw it on the floor. I heard the shouts as people sung along to the song, grinding against each other. " Here you go babe" I hear a voice say as I turned around , finding Kyle swaying a little whilst holding another red cup in his hand.

" Thanks" I say , before taking the cup , chugging the contents. I started to feel woozy but brushed it away. " Let's dance" He says , grabbing my hand  , pulling me further onto the dance floor. I wrapped my arms around his neck , his hands gliding around my waist as we swayed to the beat. Kyle lifted me up into the air , my legs wrapping around his waist as he dipped me. I dropped down , turning around before dropping low , grinding against him in the process. Somewhere in the back of my mind , their was a little voice telling me that what I was doing was wrong , but I ignored it as Kyle spun me around.

" You look hot tonight babe" He whispered in my ear, his words slurring. We were both drunk that was obvious but I seemed to be more awake then him. I felt his hands slip onto my ass , as he grabbed it causing me to moan softly. 'Okay. This definatly isn't right' My subconcious tells me as I nod before stepping back. " Wait babe where are you going?" Kyle asks stumbling towards me. " To find Josh" I say , starting to wobble to the last place I saw him before Kyle's hand slipped around my arm. " No. Stay with me. We were having so much fun" He slurred , I managed to yank my arm free. Stumbling to find Josh until finally I found him. " I think we should go home" I slurred

"  I think so too" Josh says calmly before leading me out to the car. He opened the door for me as I fell into the car. He helped me put my seatbelt on before , getting in. We drove in silence , and before I knew it Josh was tucking me into bed and I slipped into a comfortable sleep.....
