Chapter 13 - Adventure Time Buddies

I sat at the cafe with Kyle , a cupcake in my hand. I am not kidding you when I say that this was the best god damn cupcake you will ever find. It was chocolate chip with strawberries in the middle. It was huge to say the least and I was worried that I would look like a grub trying to eat it. " Just eat it already" Kyle said impatiently. " How bout' you shut your pie hole mister" I reply giving him my best death glare. He knew exactly why I couldn't eat it. He just wanted to see me fail. " Hey miss can I get a take away box for this?" I ask as she walks past , she doesn't say anything but gives me a curt nod before walking away. When she returns she has a medium sized container that the cupcake would just fit in. " You are no fun" Kyle says rolling his eyes , " just because you didn't get to see me spill cupcake all over myself doesn't mean I am not fun " I reply picking up my cupcake , before storming away from the cafe and towards Hot Topic. I entered , the comforting feeling of belonging greeting me. I walked through the familiar band wear , seeing Panic! At The Disco , Ghost Town , Get Scared , Black Veil Brides and Bullet For My Valentine shirts all around me.

I raked through the multiple Ghost Town shirts until I found the one I was looking for. It was the Hocus Pocus shirt with the cute fox. It was one of my favorites. I also went and had a look at some limited time only stock , their was a mad Jane The Killer hoodie that I would love to have, but evidently I only had enough for the shirt. After I paid , I walked outside to wait for Kyle who had followed me in. When he came out he held a bag. " What did you get ?" I ask , curious to see what a guy like him would be buying from band merch. He lifted out the Jane The Killer hoodie that I had been eyeing off. " Kyle you didn't have to" I say as he handed me the hoodie, " I didn't have to but I wanted to" He replies placing his hand in mine. I have to admit it was incredibly sweet of him to do that but I still didn't know how I felt about either of them and it was of coarse driving me nuts.

I had two amazing guys who I live with ,who try to impress me sometimes and that are incredibly sweet. I like them both as friends equally but more then that? I have no clue.

I sat on the couch in Josh's lounge room , eating a bowl of fruit loops whilst Adventure Time played on the television. Josh wasn't home yet and Kyle had reluctantly left me alone so it was now just me , Adventure Time and my bowl of fruit loops. Oh and Ginger who lay curled in a bowl next to me.

Ginger usually laid on my lap but as my lap was occupied by the bowl of fruit loops she had taken the spot next to me. I finished off my fruit loops , placing my bowl on the coffee table. Ginger instantly crawled into my lap , as I sat back down. Ginger was the cutest little thing you have ever met , she was cuter then that little German Sheppard puppy the lady next door had owned. Or well they were both equally cute .

I heard the door click open , ' Josh is home' I think to myself as I tried to act like I didn't hear him. " Skyler I'm home !" He calls out. I don't bother replying ,not to be sneaky or rude. I was just infatuated in Adventure Time as Marceline starts singing I'm just Your Problem. It was my favorite episode.

I shipped Finn and Marceline , or Finn and Flame Princess or Fiona and Marshal Lee because you know I am awesome like that. I felt the couch dip next to me , looking beside me to find Josh eagerly looking at the television as well. I smiled at that. Anyone who likes the same show as me was automatically my bae. I mean I'd probably never speak to you again if you said Adventure Time sucks.

Ginger decided that I wasn't comfortable enough anymore and retreated to her bed , leaving just Josh and I on the couch together. I looked over at Josh , I wouldn't mind cuddling up to him right now but that would be awkward wouldn't it? Plus how do I initiate the contact. As if Josh had been reading my mind , he wrapped his arm around my waist pulling me against his body. My pack was pressed against his chest as we lay entangled in each other , watching Adventure Time. He was now officially my Adventure Time Buddy.

" You know...I've always been awkward when it comes to doing stuff like this with girls...but you give me confidence. You make me feel as if I am good enough to do this kinda stuff" Josh whispers into my ear , " Well you make me feel comfortable and safe , plus I am a sucker for cuddles" I reply softly as I feel his warm breath against my neck. I moved my head slightly so that I could see his face , his eyes were darker , and his breathing had grown heavier. " Would it be weird if I wanted to kiss you right now?" He asks , " No. Not at all" I reply before I felt his warm lips press against my own. My lips felt as if they were on fire ,his touch bringing sparks across my skin. It was electrifying and it felt good.

It all ended to soon. Josh was panting , as was I . " That..." he started , " Was amazing" I finished as we both let out a soft laugh. We returned to our previous position , continuing to watch Adventure Time until both of us drifted into a deep sleep...
