"We are counting down 4 days to the Hualien trip. Yue, have you prepared everything?" Ying-jie asked during their weekly staff meeting.Yue nodded. "Yes! I just need to confirm a few more things with the production team in Taiwan and it will be good to go."
"Didi still have one more flight to Shanghai for a photoshoot tomorrow. I don't want to wear him too thin. So, Yue, please make sure he eats and sleeps well. The Hualien project is important to our company and also to the local people. Especially after the earthquake. We foresee that the travelogue shoot will encourage visitors to go again."
"I understand, Ying-jie."
"I appreciate your hard work, Yue. You are one of the best assistants Didi have. But be careful, okay?"
Yue looked at her boss quizzically. Ying-jie smiled at her.
"Didi can be quite a charmer."
"Oh..." Yue smiled. Her mind wandered to the night she sponged him shirtless. Her eyes turned warm. "Ying-jie, please excuse me. I have some calls to make."
"No problem. Keep me updated!"
Closing the door behind her, she heaved a breath of relief. She hoped Ying-jie was not suspecting anything. She brushed her bangs and put her file on her desk. A few girls started gathering around her, excited.
"Yue Yue, you are so lucky! Meeting F4 in Hualien is a dream come true," said Xiao Li, a junior intern. That year, the company hired a few junior interns as many projects were running at the same time.
Xiao Ching said "If I did not plan to go back home, I would be there too."
Yue smiled. "Are you regretting, Xiao Ching?"
"No, Yue-jie. Anyways, we see them in the company sometimes too. Except for Jin Kang-ge." Yue was aware that Mei Zuo aka Kang was from a different agency, which was strange. She actually have met Xi Ze and Kuan a few times from a distance but not much interaction.
However, she was good friends with their assistants, Jia Qi and Hua-jie. They have joint meetings occasionally. For the Hualien trip, each assistant will be in-charge of their ward.
"Yue-jie, which one among F4 is your most favourite?" Xiao Liang asked. Yue turned to look at her. This intern had the brightest looking eyes.
"Of course, Daoming Si." She beamed.
"Who said my name?"
They all turned around and saw Dylan walking in, with his mask on. They giggled like school girls and whispered to each other.
Yue turned around. "I said Daoming Si, not Wang He Di."
"They are both me, you know." His eyes were smiling. He removed his mask. Yue could sense the juniors gushing behind her.
"Would you girls like coffee? I'm getting some." Yue offered. The girls politely declined and continued to smile at Dylan. She rolled her eyes and turned to him.
"What about you, Didi?"
"Sure. Double espresso please. I need to wake up." Suddenly, he sneezed. The girls giggled again.
"Oh my God, his sneeze sounds so cute," Xiao Liang whispered to Xiao Li. Yue felt like she was working in a high school environment. Can the girls be more professional?
"I will be right back."
She saw Dylan turning to the interns and chatting with them. Girls, she thought.
