XIV. Hualien 5

They ended their filming early and went back to Noosa villa. Zi Xin, Zi Le and Grandpa Han stood at the doorway with a big congratulatory message.

"Congratulations F4 and Director Zhou on your success! We have a farewell party at our front lawn tonight for everyone. Please come in all-white attire."

Everyone cheered including Yue and Dylan. Yue had already planned what she wanted to do tonight. It had to be so, before they fly back to Beijing and be overwhelmed by life and job.

She took the lift to her room as her knees still hurt and opened her suitcase. "I don't have anything white to wear!" she wailed. "Why didn't they tell us earlier?" She slumped down on the bed and stared at the ceiling.

Jia Qi came in and saw her brooding. "You looked like a thunderstorm is raining on you."

"Jia Qi! I don't have anything to wear tonight!"

"What about Dylan's white hoodie?" She teased her.

"Not that again. I had it washed the other day cause I dirtied it during the ATV ride."

"Let me see what I have." Jia Qi rummaged her bag. "You are so lucky. I got extra white dress. You can wear this." She said handing her an off-shoulder white shirt dress.

Yue's eyes widened. "This is too fancy, Jia Qi. Why did you bring it anyway?"

"Just in case," she said, blushing.

Yue whispered "Are you supposed to wear this for him?"

Jia Qi chuckled "I supposed he does not need me to wear anything to please him."

Yue closed her mouth with her hand "You two! Have you?"

"Shush, Yue!" Jia Qi closed the door. "We are almost there." Yue let go of her breath. "Are you judging me Yue? I m not that naive you know." Jia Qi smiled.

"I just think it takes courage, and I salute your bravery."

"When you love someone, you want to give everything you have for him, isn't that so?" Jia Qi asked. Yue pondered quietly, "I suppose so."

"Let's get you doll up tonight! And surprise Mr Wang!"

The party had started with live music as the crew and the F4 boys mingled and ate at the table. It was indeed a successful project. Director Zhou was very pleased. "I would say that you boys surprised me. Initially I thought you are playful but actually all of you are very professional. Thank you for your hard work." She bowed her head and put up her champagne glass for cheers. "To Hualien travelogue!"

As she put her glass down, she said "Oh, I also have to thank our extras, Yue, Jia Qi and of course Thomas on the last day. His photos are amazing." She said smiling at him. Thomas nodded in acknowledgment. "By the way, where are your assistants, Didi and Xi Ze? I want to personally thank them."

"We are here, Director Zhou. Sorry, we took so long to come down."

Everyone turned and saw them walking towards them. Dylan's eyes widened and his jaw must have dropped at the sight of Yue. He had never seen her worn a dress, an off-shoulder to be exact, and she looked stunning. She smiled at him before turning to Director Zhou. Jia Qi was walking behind her and winked at Xi Ze. Xi Ze put his arm around Dylan's shoulder, "Careful, brother, your jaw is almost reaching the ground."

Dylan closed his mouth and swallowed. His throat felt dry. "I m gonna get a drink. Do you want?" Xi Ze grinned. "Get one for her." Dylan touched the nape of his neck. It was warm. So were his ears.
