Author's farewell note

This is farewell, my dear readers. I have mixed feelings. 😢

I would like to bid farewell to the characters of this story.

Wang He Di, thank you for being Yue's protector and the love of her life. I will miss your goofiness and childlikeness. You are also forgiving, patient and generous. Writing you was such a joy. 💜

Shen Yue, I love your courage, wittiness and fierce character, protecting the man you love and standing up for what is right. Yes, you have moments of doubts and you made a few errors of judgment but that makes you human. I love your character the most. 💛

Jia Qi and Xi Ze, I wished every friend in the world will be like you two. Loyal, steadfast and bold. ❤️

Kuan and Kang, I wished I had more time to develop your characters. Both of you are like bubble gum, or colorful jelly beans in a bowl of boring porridge. Maybe in the next story, I will do you justice. ✌🏻

Xi Zi, I'm sorry if I made you looked like a blur case here. But you are such a good friend to Didi and he needs your goofiness. Just get wiser in your choice of friends! 😝

Hsu-jie, you always feel like a big sister to Yue. Even to me. Thanks to you as an accidental matchmaker! Shipping Dylan does have its benefits. 😂 Thank you for being an angel watching over the kids.

Hao-ge, how can we forget you? You are always present, and there for Dylan. Your calmness and quietness anchors him and Yue. 🙏🏻

Ying-jie, I am glad you learned about love. Age, time and distance will not hinder what God had planned for them. 💕 Thank you for making peace with the kids.

Ma and Pa, I love the warm interaction and bickering. That is also how my hubby and I roll (the bickering I mean)😍

Papa Shen, thank you for being brave. It is not easy to admit your mistakes to your own daughter. I salute you for your sacrifice and courage. 💕

Grandpa Han, I love you so much! It's a delight to write you. I missed my own grandpa so much. 😭

Zi Xin, Zi Le. The names of my own daughters. I imagined both of you to be amazing individuals soon to get married to the love of your life and find happiness. 🤩

Thomas, ahhhh.....you are a sudden addition to the story after Paris Fashion week. I'm glad I chose you. 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Qing He, sorry you're still the supportive role 😝I shall give you a voice next time.

Mei-Jie & Hei-ge, thank you for saving Yue. And for the tattoos. I'm too chickened to get one. 😝

Shang Yan, I regretted writing you doing that to Yue. I should have written you with more remorse and repentance. Having said that you also brought balance to the story. Good will always triumph over evil. 💪🏻

The rest of the minor roles, thank you for being part of the story. You are important and created for a purpose. 🙏🏻☺️

Lastly,

To the real Wang He Di and Shen Yue, don't lose sight of each other. Hold each other tight when obstacles come. You can brave through anything with one heart, one mind. Every word I wrote is a prayer for you. Love you.
