She clasped her perfectly manicured hands together, trying to lose the tingling sensation on her palms. Her stomach was doing tiny somersaults and she kept having the urge for bathroom. "Jia Qi...." she turned to her friend who noticed  her immense nervousness. Jia gave her a gentle smile "it's ok to feel this way. It's your wedding!"

Yue smiled weakly. "I didn't expect it to be so nerve-wracking. On top of that I haven't prepared my vow. My mind is blank!" "You don't need to be perfect, Yue. Didi will love you anyhow." They have earlier agreed to say their vows in front of a minister as both believed words sealed in faith are powerful. They also wanted the wedding to be simple.

There was knock on the door and Hsu-jie peeped in. "Hsu-jie!" Yue exclaimed. "Yue, you look so beautiful. Wang He Di is one lucky man. Up till today I still feel it's so surreal that you are marrying my biggest idol. Can I be teensy jealous?" She joked.

Yue laughed. "Didi always think you are the matchmaker." Which made Hsu-jie widened her eyes. "He's right. Thanks to me for giving you that job!" "Thanks to me for saying yes," Yue responded. They both laughed.

Hsu-jie held her hands. "I think it's brave of you to reconcile with your father. It's the right thing to do, baby girl." She squeezed Hsu-jie's hand. "It was Didi who pathed the way. I owe him that much." Feeling her eyes growing misty, she put her finger at the corner of her eye. "He is a good boy and he got a good wife." They hugged.

"Yue, it's time. Your father is here to put your veil for you." Jia Qi announced.

Yue looked up and saw her father. There were sparkles in his eyes. She smiled. "Papa, I'm happy that you are giving me away today. Thank you." Papa Shen took her hands. "Yue Yue, I should thank you for giving me a second chance. I'm so grateful for you. And for Didi. You got yourself a good husband." He patted his hand and then looked at Hsu-jie. "Hsu, promise me that you will continue to watch over them as you always have." She nodded.

"You're so beautiful today, just like your mother. Remember as Didi's wife, there must always be generosity and unity as one." Yue nodded, not trusting herself to speak again. So much emotions were rising within her. Papa Shen hugged her before pulling the veil to cover her face. Yue linked her arm around his. "I'm ready, Jia."

Dylan was shifting his feet and moving his arms. He bit his nails while waiting for the bride's arrival. "Didi, stop fidgeting." Kuan said. Since Xi Ze and Kang were going to sing their walk-in song, Kuan was the ring bearer, standing next to Didi.

"Kuan, this is so nerve-wracking. Thankfully I'm just doing this once in my life." Kuan eyed him. "You better be buddy. Otherwise I will come and avenge Yue."

Dylan looked at his buddy. "Since when are you protective of Yue?" Kuan slowly grinned. "I like her." Dylan's eyes widened. "As a sister. She is perfect for you, Didi. Treat her like queen."
