y/n's POV:
It's 2 in the morning and the party is pretty dead. F/n is so drunk she couldn't even walk so Caleb took her home. I decided to help clean up, Caleb said someone is going to help but I'm not sure who it is though.
I hear footsteps coming behind me and I turn to Tom smiling.
"Need any help?" He asks
"Sure" I say smiling back
We don't talk for a few minutes until he breaks the silence.
"Did you have fun tonight?" Tom asks
"Yeah, it was good" I say
"How's f/n?" Tom asks
"She's really drunk" I say while laughing
"I could imagine. She had like 2 bottles of vodka" he says with a slight chuckle
"Yeah" I say while grabbing another bin liner
"So hows Lily?" I change the subject
"Uhhh... it's complicated" he replies
"Can I ask why?" I ask politely
"Uhhh... she just talks about herself too much, and I get bored" he says laughing
"Oh." I say trying not to sound excited
"Well I'm here if you need someone to hang out with when your bored. You don't have to I'm just offering, I-
"Thank you. I appreciate it" he says with a smile.
His smile is the best. My heart melts to the floor at that point.
We stand there staring into each other's eyes for a while until Caleb interrupts.
"Hey. I just dropped f/n off-
He stops and realises he interrupted something.
"Sorry man, I didn't mean to interrupt" he says with a smile
"It's ok" Tom says
"Actually I was just about to leave" I say walking out of the room.
"Wait, do you want a ride home?" Tom yells
"Uhh... is that ok?" I ask
"Yeah. Let's go" He says gesturing me to go
I walk to his car with a smile.
"I didn't get your name?" He asks
"Y/n." I say
"So y/n where do you live?" Tom asks
"Next door to you" I say
"Wait. Really?!" He asks shocked
"For How long?" He asks
"My whole life" I say embarrassed that he doesn't know
"Oh. I did not know that. Now we can hang out more" he says
I nod my head with a smile and look at the window.
Once we arrive at my house I get out of the car.
"Wait!" Tom yells
I turn around.
"How am I supposed to shamelessly flirt with you in the middle of the night when I don't have your number?" He asks for for my number with a pick up line?
"Are you serious?" I ask while laughing
"Never been more serious in my life" He says with a huge grin on his face.
I tell him my number and turn around and start walking to my house.
"Can't wait to spend more time with you!" He says while laughing. I couldn't tell if he was being serious or not?
