y/n's POV:
"y/n. Ever since you walked through the doors at Jay's party, I was instantly drawn to you." he confesses
"Why didn't you say this earlier?" I ask with a chuckle
"I was with Lily then and I didn't know you felt the same" he says with a smile
"I've always had a crush on you Tom. Ever since I moved into my house. I remember you kicking a football with your dad while unpacking my stuff." I say while we both laugh
"I can't believe you have lived next-door for your whole life" Tom says still shocked
"Yep." I say a bit embarrassed
I hear my phone ring. I check to see who it is... surprise, surprise it's my mum...
"Is everything ok?" Tom asks
"Yeah, it's just my mum" I say while declining the call.
"Maybe you should answer that?" Tom suggests
"You know what I should get going anyway. Mum is going to get so mad when I get home" i say frustrated
"Ok. Thank you for coming" He says with a smile
"Of course. This is the place we go to talk so..." I say
He laughs.
At Home...
I walk through the front door and see my mum and David sitting on the couch with an angry face.
"Hi" I say still walking
"Come back here young lady!" Mum yells
I roll my eyes and make my way to the living room.
"David has told me that you left without his consent and you gave him attitude, is that correct?" she asks
"I thought you were sick" I ask
"I'm getting better" She says
"Anyways answer my question!" Mum yells
"Yeah." I say
"Why?" She asks
"I needed to go and he was annoying me" I say while looking at David
"Excuse me?" mum asks in an angry tone
"Give me your phone" she says while sticking her hand out
"No. I did nothing wrong!" I yell
"Y/N!" she yells louder
I glare at David and run up the stairs. As I reach my room I lock the door behind me and text Tom to meet me back at the park. I know I sound like a pain but I needed to get out of here.
"Y/N! LET ME IN!" mum yells through the door
I quickly pack a few things in a backpack and jump out the window.
I run to the park before mum could see me. She's being so unfair. It was all David's fault. He's not my dad!
I get to the park and see Tom already on the swing waiting for me. I smile. He spots me.]
"Y/n! whats going on? are you ok?" He asks concerned
"Yeah, I'm fine. I just need to go to the train station" I say
"Why?" he asks even more concerned
"Do you trust me?" I ask
Tom nods...
