"U make it out alive Shen Wei!"

As a result, since enough time had passed, news of two Black Shield member being kidnapped had spread to all corners of the Dragon City by this point yet, no one knows where they were.

There was no way of telling time as both Zhu Hong and Shen Wei were in an enclosed and dark room with no windows. It was really dark in the room, and it would be no surprise if there were pests crawling around the room, as it did have a damp sewer smell.

This place was a completely dark stone room that was gloomy and damp, and the air emitted a pungent moldy stench.

If Shen Wei was at his usual state, he would be able to easily break open the wooden door of the stone room and escape. However, he was unable to achieve this now, and it was even to the extent he didn't even have the strength to stand up.

Shen Wei seemed so tired that he also couldn't raise his hand. He didn't think to stop the flow of blood either as redness poured continuously out of his gunshot wounds from his legs.

When he once more opened his eyes, he had no idea how much time had passed. Perhaps it had just been an hour; perhaps it had been a whole day.

While enduring the extreme pain of his gaping wound, he had been roused by the sound of those howling kidnappers, god knows what they were doing outside.

"Shen Wei are you still okay?" Zhu Hong asked worriedly since the room was completely dark like charcoal, she couldn't see Shen Wei's current condition or where he was sitting.

"Umh.." Shen Wei responded. He started to imagine something in the darkness with his eyes closed.

His mind was blank, devoid of any thinking. He had forgotten about the possibility of dying, and the only thing he had was the impulse to escape.

"Do you think he will come to rescue us? After all this is just a trap to lure him in." Zhu Hong had her back towards the icy cold wall as she looked around to look for some light to flicker in the darkness.

Within the gloomy stone room, Zhu Hong's peerlessly beautiful face was hidden within the darkness. She sat cross-legged on the ground while maintaining a ramrod straight posture, and even though she was in this simple and damp environment, she still emitted a solitary bearing as if she stood aloof from the world.

Shen Wei didn't reply to Zhu Hong, or perhaps, since the moment he found out they'd been locked up in this stone room, he hadn't spoken a single word and seemed as if he'd resigned himself to his fate.

But Zhu Hong knew that this proud man hadn't resigned himself to his fate through his silence, and it was even to the extent that he didn't even have feelings of dejection, resentment, or anger.

He just sat upright there calmly while making the best use of every minute to try his best to save some energy he could save. This sort of persistence looked to be useless, and any other person would probably have given up since long ago. But Shen Wei had persisted all along until now, and he'd never given up.

"I have a strong premonition that an unforeseen event is about to occur to you very soon. Perhaps it will be today, or perhaps tomorrow." Shen Wei who never spoken all along had actually spoke out abruptly at this moment. Obviously, he wasn't as indifferent to his situation as he seemed on the outside.

"Heh, making fun of me in this situation," Zhu Hong muttered to herself, her plain and graceful face was actually suffused with a trace of disappointment and a sense of loss. "Are you sure?"
