Chapter XXVII

"Midnight talk with U!"

A brief moment later, water splashing resounded, causing Shen Wei's heart to race. Instantly, he felt his blood surging as the mist from the water sparked his imagination. Yes, he was attracted first to Zhao YunLan's unwavered expression but after seeing his boss topless body with a well-built muscles he really wanted to devour his boss by that time.

Ten-odd minutes later, the noise of clothes fluttering resounded. Zhao YunLan had finished showering and came out in his sleepwear with an emanating fragrance for the second time.

It was alreadty midnight when he had finished showering...

"You don't snore, right?" Zhao YunLan said as he removed the towel and his black hair draped over his forehead while looking straight ahead at Shen Wei.

Was he trying to tempt him?

He kicked the sandals off his feet and burrowed into the bed. He lay on the bed after the shower, thinking about stuff; the more he thought, the further he got from sleeping. However, he suddenly realised that the lights were still turned on. He straightened his body up with a blanket wrapped around him and he flipped the switch, instantly extinguishing the light in the room.

Shen Wei flinched, he doesn't like to sleep when the room is so dimmed but he can't say anything at all about this to Zhao YunLan due to some reasons he doesn't wasn't to blurted out yet since their relationship is still not stable and full of 'ifs'.

He distract himself from the sudden darkness before his eyes and answered.

"I don't snore, but I might occasionally talk in my sleep." Shen Wei closed his eyes, but he wasn't feeling the slightest bit sleepy. Although they weren't sleeping together on the same bed, just the fact that they're alone in the room made it hard for him to hold himself back.

"Talk in your sleep? That's pretty scary. I remembered that there's a dormmate back in University, he would always talk in his sleep around 5 in the morning. He's usually very quiet, but when he talks in his sleep, he would start to loudly curse." Zhao YunLan flipped to the side as he reminiscing his old memories.

Shen Wei smiled. "You must be sleepless. Every so often, it reflects their inner thoughts, and he definitely has violent tendencies."

Zhao YunLan sighed, "Yeah, I stayed in the same dorm as his for a year, but I moved out during my second year. I heard that he placed poison in the daily necessities of another dormmate, causing that dormmate to be reduced to a retard."

Shen Wei widened his eyes. "Then, you're lucky. If you did not move out, then you might be one of his victims."

Zhao YunLan immediately chuckled lowly, "I'm just kidding. You fell for it?"

"I never thought that you would lie, as well." Shen Wei sighed. Despite Zhao YunLan being cold on the surface, he turned out to be a lively person. It was just his environment that caused him to place a barrier around his heart.

"You're a man as well, lying is a man's innate talent right?" Zhao YunLan flipped around before he looked at the floor. Despite the darkness, he could still make out the silhouette of Shen Wei's face.

"Especially handsome man." Shen Wei added.

Zhao YunLan was briefly stunned before he asked in a low voice, "You also think that I'm handsome?"
