Chapter XVIII

"U feel bad now?"

After they share the same dinner that night and Zhao YunLan discuss some major changes plan in the Black Shield Unit, they went straight to bed. With Shen Wei insisting to sleep on the same bed with Zhao YunLan but the man himself was too aloof to even let him sleep with him resulting on Shen Wei sleeping on the sofa.

The night passed quickly.

Early the next morning, Shen Wei arrived at the Black Shield Unit headquarters of Dragon City. He fished his phone out and check the time, it was 0740 hours. Black Shield Unit agents usually started work at 0800 hours but he arrived 20 mins early in hope of giving them a good impression on his unusually happy day.

After walking around, Shen Wei found the way to his office. There were few early-bird agents in the office already as soon as he arrived, starting their day drinking hot coffee. Neatly-dressed people walked into the office building one after the other and into different offices to start their workday.

Some employees looked at Shen Wei, pointing and discussing something in low voices.

Shen Wei put his phone away and asked with a smile, "What are you doing?"

A young man said, "Brother Shen, we watched the video online and woah, I know you're good at closed-combat but I didn't know you were so good at at it to that extent!"

A young female employee spoke excitedly with her eyes shining, "Brother Shen Wei, you were so handsome and cool when you defeated that people of Huang Cheng at the park!"

"So there's a CCTV around that place?" Shen Wei was surprised. "It's all on the internet?"

"Yeah, it's gone viral. Many people are looking up your name. Some say you are the modern Wong Fei-Hung* and that you should be in movies than being a criminal police." The female agent's eyes were still alight.

Shen Wei gave a laugh. "I won't do that! Besides there is someone around here that is also very good looking and rather be on movies than being a boss. Okay, you guys, disperse. Go on, to work, to work."

The employees were confused but did not dare voice their thoughts. They dispersed as Shen Wei went into his office table and put his bag on the table in front of his computer.

When he arrived at their office, Da Qing was the early one who arrived before him and was leaning on his table while drinking hot coffee. He was looking at Shen Wei with complicated expressions.

"Hello, Da Qing! You are always as early as you are." Shen Wei greeted Da Qing like usual.

Da Qing looked Shen Wei up and down and asked tentatively, "Shen Wei? What have you done this time to our boss?"

Shen Wei blankly watched Da Qing who was looking at him with a complicated expressions. Suddenly, a creepy smile appeared on Shen Wei's face but his smile seemed obscene. His eyes were now fixed on Da Qing particularly spectacular chest as he stares and it was clear from his stares that he was thinking dirty thoughts.

"I did nothing! Get to work. What's with the blind guess?" Shen Wei said jokingly as he gave Da Qing a friendly smile.

Somehow, Da Qing continued to watch blankly which left Shen Wei wondering what mess he got himself into as soon as he got here.

"You…" Da Qing looked mad, then he looked at Shen Wei intensively, "Then why did Zhao YunLan removed you from the B&C Squad and placed you on the Fraud Squad? Didn't you know your office is not here anymore?!"
